Hello my good friends on the Type II Life forum,

A very good evening to you all.

I'm as happy as a sandboy at the moment. I'm on my Smoking Quit and have been abstinent from tobacco misuse for 4 days, 17 hours and 21 minutes. I've been having an utterly superb time in my flat watching the disney channel on sky 609, did a fantastic shop today, unsupervised, had an impeccable blood glucose reading of 5.1 Millimoles Per Litre earlier on and have cooked some exciting meals like Caribbean Jerk Pork with boiled white rice and Jerk Chicken. I just had some crusty bread with strawberry jam and had a crusty double fried egg sandwich for my breakfast. This Tobacco and Cigarette Smoking Quit will really help my diabetes and all my other complaints, as I enthusuastically use a US online smoking cessation support group on www.quitnet.com. I'm also using nicorette quickmist 1 mg mouth sprays for the cravings on nhs repeat at my gp. It's really working! I hate smoking now!

Much love

after a few days for which I humbly apologise

Double Congratulations are in order:-
@tina_marie Happy Birthday to you and I wish you many more to come
@autisticwonder1970 Congratulations to you on your achievement of stopping smoking, well done!
Thank you, my friend @13lizanne, I feel really well for my positive action plan in contemplating, and participating in, my smoking cessation programme. I'm now 4 days, 19 hours and 4 minutes abstinent from the perils of tobacco misuse. In fond friendship, John Baker (@autisticwonder1970). xx.

Hope all you peeps are ok
I know some of you are not ok to those of you not ok sending you a big Cumberland hug

@tina_marie happy belated Birthday - oops sorry I'm late but was out all afternoon and was so zapped I wasn't on and just found out this morning. It's twilight here and chilly - birds are making a racket lol. FBG 7.1 mmol/l. Having some tea and whole meal toast. My appetite in the morning just isn't my usual. Injected insulin and planning out my agenda for the day - nothing planned, no appointments or anything to go to. I might do some online shopping on ebay or Amazon for clothes and/or Christmas presents. Just finished watching the Walking Dead season 5 and ready for season 6 in December on Amazon Prime Video. :)
