Type 2 Life

@JohnnyBaker87 how often do you see your diabetes nurse? Could he/she refer you to a dietician? Hopefully when you get to the shared living it will help.
I already do see dietitians at my GP and they're going to draw up diet sheets in my next appointments for me to incorporate into my shopping inventories to ensure I'm getting a healthy balance of the different food group components found in foods.

I'm having blood tests at the end of November as my lady Indian GP wants to check my cortisol levels. If it's discovered I have got high levels of cortisol, it could explain a lot of my symptoms like low energy, muscle weakness, exacerbations in high blood pressure, carbohydrate cravings, disrupted sleep, disorder of emotional control, etc, etc. High cortisol is caused by abnormally high stress levels. It's to do with the adrenal gland.

I get high prolactin levels too. My stress is family and health related.

i went to st thomas' hospital to my diabetic eye screening appointment today. regrettably, i haven't been looking after my diabetes very well recently, which is what jesus expects me to do, with regards to my poor diet, limited exercise, and complete nonchalance over the importance of the lchf diet in my life. debrasue, an ex-user of the dcuk forum, gave me good, wholesome advice about my diet; cauliflower rice, celeriac, unspelt wholegrain spaghetti, soya and linseed bread, stevia sweetener, knocking coffeemate light on the head, etc, etc. i've got to start applying this advice to my daily repertoire. jesus has entrusted me with that responsibility.

Dear Friends,

My carer came tonight, a lady from an ethnic minority called Victoria, and changed my bed linen for me, did some laundry, washed my dishes, gave me my medication and warmed me up a chicken curry and minimal rice sainsbury's basics ready meal.

Last night for the first time in months Ron actually slept without waking until breakfast time this morning. He’s trying to cope day to day the best way he can. He’s still struggling with swallowing as everything now gets stuck .

dearest friends on the type 2 life thread of the dcuk forum,

this coming monday my care coordinator is bringing to my one-bedroomed council flat in stockwell a shared lives network facilitator/manager with one of their carers to assess my needs and to meet me first-hand. my care coordinator will be with me to support me.

this morning i went to my local portuguese cafeteria and ate two halved slices of white toast with margarine, 1 cafe latte with 2 sugars, 2 slices of fried bacon, 1 fat fried pork sausage, 1 fried egg, 1 fried hash brown, 1 portion of french fries and one portion of baked beans. it only cost me a blueish-green five pound note with queen elizabeth 2nd on one side and winston churchill on the other side. i saw my friend colin in the portuguese cafeteria and he asked me if i had any money and i gave him a handful of change which comprised a gold and silver one pound coin, silver twenty pence pieces, silver ten pence pieces and silver five pence pieces. he looked as happy as a sandboy when i gave him the pocket change.

i also had my 75mg intramuscular fluphenazine decaonate modecate injection to control my meltdowns and social interaction and stimming symptoms and anxiety symptoms in my challenging and concerning moderate to severe asperger syndrome autism spectrum condition.

give my dear friend ron a hug from me, tina, and tell him he's always in my prayers with my prayer candle and my holy bible which helps me through the harder days in life. i light a candle for him at church, too, and also for @ickihun and @heh.

good morning, my dearest friends on the type 2 life thread of the dcuk forum,

i'm now 81 days quit from my nicotine addiction.

my carer came round before 8 o'clock this morning but i was in a deep sleep and i didn't hear the intercom ringing, so, regrettably, i missed her. my care agency, holistic community care limited, have requested that carers don't call to my flat before eight o'clock in the future to give me a chance to wake up.

i ate two slices of orange marmalade on toast earlier plus i drank several mugs of decaffeinated coffee with full cream milk and granulated sweetener. my blood glucose level just now was 15.5.

i've also got a physio appointment this afternoon at the musculoskeletal assessment clinic in brixton at 2:30pm.

Oh no.
How is he keep getting it? I'm so annoyed for you both.
Mr ickihun has a flu/virus.

I have a theory in that the M.E. he has is playing a big part. He’s unable to clear his throat properly so that fluid in his lungs builds up so much so it ends up being a continuous loop of clearing it . Every time now when he eats he’s having to cough after every mouthful. I can see that in years to come he may have to have a feeding tube fitted . We’re still not having much luck with changing his meds to liquid or soluble, his doctor has said for Ron to get a pill crusher . Not much use when some have to be taken whole . Ron has also said he’s not taking no more antibiotics.

Dear Friends,

I have got a very important interview/assessment meeting with two representatives from the Shared Lives Network (Website:- http://www.sharedlivesplus.org.uk) about my assisted-living accommodation today in the early afternoon, a manager and one of their Carers. My Care Coordinator will be with me to support me.

Today, I ate a bowl of Porridge with one cupful of porridge oats, one cupful of full cream milk and one teaspoonful of granulated sweetener. I also took my tablets and Lixisenatide injection. My Carer also came and did my washing up, put on some laundry, swept and mopped the floors and cleaned my microwave oven. My Blood Glucose Level today was 13.3 Millimoles Per Litre. I've also been taking my Folic Acid tablets every morning and my Cholecalciferol Vitamin D3 2 capsules once a week on a Thursday. It's a 7-week course.

Lots of Love to you all with my best wishes and sincere kind regards,

@JohnnyBaker87, a sufferer of challenging and concerning, moderate to severe Asperger Syndrome, Adult ADHD, Dyscalculia, Insulin-Resistant Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Urge Incontinence, Idiopathic Megarectum, Hyponatraemia and Chronic Mechanical Back Pain xXx.
