Just thought I’d update you all on the liquid metformin Ron’s taking . It seems to be working his bg levels are now back down to normal . He’s still struggling on other issues associated with M.E. Ron has now decided to seek a second opinion about his heart condition . He has an appointment on the 4th of December with gp.

Ooooh,............ If his numbers are moderating on liquid Metformin, it will be difficult for his Doc to justify going back to tablets. The stress of taking those horse-size pills could be enough to shunt the numbers up a bit.

The doctor he's seeing in December is the same one that told him it didn't exist. I can't wait to see the docs face .

I have Asperger Syndrome which is an autism spectrum condition and a full diagnosis of Adult ADHD which are characterised by impairments in social communication, social interaction and social imagination. I also have a rigid and somewhat unpredictable routine. I also experience obsessive rituals, some a bit overwhelming. But I have a talent in articulate creative writing skills and possess a photographic rote memory. I have sensory sensitivity and get upset by loud noises, bright colours or lights, and notice the texture and consistency of certain foods more making my dietary choices extremely limited or restricted to certain food components. I dislike conflict and lies. The Adult ADHD also makes me very moody and cross.
I'm going to my Christian Convention with my Bible Study Teacher and His Wife today, Sunday 18th November 2018 Anno Domini. There will be immersive Baptisms and Preaching by Pastoral Evangelists, too.

I'm still praying for the health of my dear friend @eldergarth and I'm praying for @ickihun and @heh, too.

I'm soooo excited for you.

My op is in February. No agreed firm date but surgeon's secretary will call me after the Winter Rush on hospital services. No ops booked in January's beds.

Wouldn't it be great if you get in your new home for Christmas day?

Yes, it was a good Christian Convention, @ickihun, we learned the words of St. Paul in The Acts Of The Apostles where it is written, "It Is More Blessed To Give Than Receive" and we also learned about Jesus Christ's "Parable Of The Sower".

Your bariatric surgery in February is in the same month as my birthday (I'll be 49 on the 12th of that month and am an Aquarius).

I've got faith in Jesus that I'll be moved very soon, it's so true what the Prophet Isaiah said in Chapter 53 of his prophecies, "By His [Jesus] Stripes We Are Healed".

I've just been enjoying a You Tube video entitled "How To Make The Perfect Cup Of Tea - The British Way". Del Boy and Rodney are on the "Gold" Channel on Sky in "Only Fools And Horses" which is one of my favourite retrospective situation comedies.

Well. For the umpteenth time I've had to explain why Diabetes is a pain in the neck, for me.
To Mr ickihun, of all people.

I get sick of repeating myself. It makes me such a bore. Mind you he just wants to understand why I've been so down lately. Like all litte darlings, it must have slippped his memory.
Wish it could slip mine. Argh!!!

Dear friends,

I'm now 3 months and two days quit from my tobacco misuse addiction and habituation. I took my metformin, blood pressure tablet, incontinence tablet, mood stabilizer and lixisenatide injection this morning and ate a stone bonkers cold liver and bacon and mash ready meal for my breakfast. the carer, a portly and cuddly black lady called sheila was like a little cherub this morning, mopping all my floors and wiping the kitchen work tops down. i'm very grateful to her for her efforts, she's a 24 carat diamond. i've been sucking extra strong mints to wean myself off the nicotine replacement therapy mouth sprays. my blood glucose level was this morning 14.4 mmol/L - pitiful.

my care coordinator, a few days ago, updated my next of kin elderly 87 year old father about my future accommodation and stated that i can't keep a tenancy and struggle to function adequately in the community without a high level of care. i'm categorized as high risk and high priority where i'm living and the shared lives network are working very hard to get me a placement with a jamaican middle aged female careworker called celestine. i feel very lonely today and am listening to bible readings and sermons on you tube to fortify and strengthen me.

Good Morning, my lovely, huggable friends on the Type 2 Life thread of the DCUK Forum,

I'm still waiting to move to my Shared Lives Network assisted-living "Family" accommodation. My Care Coordinator and Shared Lives Facilitator are now dealing with the finances and funding for this accommodation and liasing with the Professional Carer that will be taking care of me there.

How are @ickihun, @13lizanne and @heh?

Yesterday, with regards to my insulin-resistant type 2 diabetes mellitus, I ate a bbq chicken deep-pan pizza and a chicken madras ready meal and 2 bowls of Alpen Muesli with milk.

my fasting blood glucose level after my morning medication including my 500 mg of metformin and 20 mcg lixisenatide injection is 11.5 mmol/L at 8:48 antemeridian Greenwich mean time today Wednesday 28th November anno domini. my carer came and put a load of clothes washing on for me and mopped all the way through my council flat. even though my back feels achy today, I did manage to wipe over my chocolate-brown two-seater sofa and make my own bed all by myself in preparation for my new assisted-living shared house accommodation.

I'm now 100 days quit from my tobacco misuse addiction and habituation - awesome!

Hello Johnny - You really are sounding so much happier in yourself. It's amazing how a little hope can bring us much more energy and get up and go.

Hopefully your wait won't be too long.

I'm still losing weight, thank god. But 6kgs away from being back to my weight when metformin worked for me. I'm 4kgs lower than my revised weight loss goal for my op though. :) :)

Liquid metformin is still doing its job for Ron . Fingers crossed he won’t be taken off it . He’s even been able to eat mince pies and still able to retain single figures .

Dear Friends,

How is @ickihun, @tina_marie , @eldergarth and @heh?

Evening Johnny , were not to bad thanks . In fact your not the only one moving . We are as well . We’ve just been accepted on the derby waiting list . Ron has to have an assessment done for adapted living . This hopefully will be our final move . This is so Ron gets better access to derby royal hospital , because at the moment travelling on the bus takes one and a half hours there and back. Very long and tiring day . More so when you have chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. Any more news on your move .

Good evening, my lovely friend, @tina_marie, it's good news that Ron is getting some accommodation more suitable for his very complex needs for his disability. My accommodation is specialist to my autism spectrum disorder and chronic mechanical back pain and is through the organisation http://sharedlivesplus.org.uk as a lot of my problems with my Asperger Syndrome involve pronounced susceptibility to exploitation and financial and material abuse from people I've not very sensibly befriended or have befriended me. The idea of shared lives is that an appointed carer invites people with differing disabilities to live with them and their family and other people with disabilities to give them a sense of belonging, family values and standards and it will be a safe haven where people with complex needs can receive complex care 365 days a year, 24/7. This is less costly and less institutionalising than supported housing, residential care or with carers popping in and out of a private home or flat. It will also protect and safeguard me, and people like me, from exploitation by difficult and challenging people. My care coordinator and the shared lives team are establishing finances and funding and waiting for an update from the social care panel concerning my move.
