Just thought I’d update you all on the liquid metformin Ron’s taking . It seems to be working his bg levels are now back down to normal . He’s still struggling on other issues associated with M.E. Ron has now decided to seek a second opinion about his heart condition . He has an appointment on the 4th of December with gp.
The doctor he's seeing in December is the same one that told him it didn't exist. I can't wait to see the docs face .Ooooh,............ If his numbers are moderating on liquid Metformin, it will be difficult for his Doc to justify going back to tablets. The stress of taking those horse-size pills could be enough to shunt the numbers up a bit.
Bless you @JohnnyBaker87.I'm going to my Christian Convention with my Bible Study Teacher and His Wife today, Sunday 18th November 2018 Anno Domini. There will be immersive Baptisms and Preaching by Pastoral Evangelists, too.
I'm still praying for the health of my dear friend @eldergarth and I'm praying for @ickihun and @heh, too.
Yes, it was a good Christian Convention, @ickihun, we learned the words of St. Paul in The Acts Of The Apostles where it is written, "It Is More Blessed To Give Than Receive" and we also learned about Jesus Christ's "Parable Of The Sower".Bless you @JohnnyBaker87.
I'm soooo excited for you.
My op is in February. No agreed firm date but surgeon's secretary will call me after the Winter Rush on hospital services. No ops booked in January's beds.
Wouldn't it be great if you get in your new home for Christmas day?
Well doneI'm now 3 months and two days quit from my tobacco misuse addiction and habituation
@JohnnyBaker87 it looks as though they are getting it sorted for you so hopefully it won’t be much longermy care coordinator, a few days ago, updated my next of kin elderly 87 year old father about my future accommodation and stated that i can't keep a tenancy and struggle to function adequately in the community without a high level of care. i'm categorized as high risk and high priority where i'm living and the shared lives network are working very hard to get me a placement with a jamaican middle aged female careworker called celestine. i feel very lonely today and am listening to bible readings and sermons on you tube to fortify and strengthen me.
my fasting blood glucose level after my morning medication including my 500 mg of metformin and 20 mcg lixisenatide injection is 11.5 mmol/L at 8:48 antemeridian Greenwich mean time today Wednesday 28th November anno domini. my carer came and put a load of clothes washing on for me and mopped all the way through my council flat. even though my back feels achy today, I did manage to wipe over my chocolate-brown two-seater sofa and make my own bed all by myself in preparation for my new assisted-living shared house accommodation.
I'm now 100 days quit from my tobacco misuse addiction and habituation - awesome!
Really well done Johnny, keep it upI'm now 100 days quit from my tobacco misuse addiction and habituation - awesome!
Good evening, my lovely friend, @tina_marie, it's good news that Ron is getting some accommodation more suitable for his very complex needs for his disability. My accommodation is specialist to my autism spectrum disorder and chronic mechanical back pain and is through the organisation http://sharedlivesplus.org.uk as a lot of my problems with my Asperger Syndrome involve pronounced susceptibility to exploitation and financial and material abuse from people I've not very sensibly befriended or have befriended me. The idea of shared lives is that an appointed carer invites people with differing disabilities to live with them and their family and other people with disabilities to give them a sense of belonging, family values and standards and it will be a safe haven where people with complex needs can receive complex care 365 days a year, 24/7. This is less costly and less institutionalising than supported housing, residential care or with carers popping in and out of a private home or flat. It will also protect and safeguard me, and people like me, from exploitation by difficult and challenging people. My care coordinator and the shared lives team are establishing finances and funding and waiting for an update from the social care panel concerning my move.Evening Johnny , were not to bad thanks . In fact your not the only one moving . We are as well . We’ve just been accepted on the derby waiting list . Ron has to have an assessment done for adapted living . This hopefully will be our final move . This is so Ron gets better access to derby royal hospital , because at the moment travelling on the bus takes one and a half hours there and back. Very long and tiring day . More so when you have chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. Any more news on your move .
