Good morning my friends on type 2 life,
My blood glucose was 11.7 this morning after taking my metformin and my Lixisenatide. I've eaten two tins of Sainsbury's basics chili con carne - no carbohydrates or starch!
........No feedback on what I've achieved so far and what a hba1c below 30 in 4 months means.
It's like they won't talk about it, and/or really don't know what this means. No talks about remission or any interest in further study of my achievement.
At least in the UK remission is being studied. But not here. Kind of frustrating. You wan't to do well, and when you do, you're on your own. It feels like the "system" only is interested in the cases, where they can pump out medication, and if you stick out, you're seen as one who will likely fall back into diabetes 2 and high hba1c again.
Sorry for letting the frustrations out here.
I appreciate that, but with a diagnosis can come some help to ease some of the symptoms. Initially, it's just a blood test for antibodies. No he hasn’t and to be honest I don’t think I could cope being told he has something else as well . He’s still not sleeping right . At the moment he’s in bed but awake . I’ve now resorted to sleeping on the sofa .
Mr Ickihun added weight on the antidepressants he's on. Hence his bad hip. Once I'm running along nicely I will be helping him with smaller diet (including beer) and more exercise. He feels he has arthritis in his hip but he had a fall 18mths ago out of our back door. GP diagnosed strained ligament. He fell again just before my op and badly bruised his right arm, internally too. He has to shuffle rather than walk.Following on from yesterday, gp has kept him on the antidepressants. Ron said there working but being messed about by derby he thinks there to blame for his depression. As for the leg pain gp hasn’t done anything, to be honest I think he will always have it .

I'll hv a bigger job helping him than helping myself.
I admire you @tina_marie.
Are you tempted to call the appointment line or the specialist secretary?Ouch, if hubby does have arthritis he has my deepest sympathy. The pain of that is unbearable at times. The cold makes it worse . Rons in a lot of pain this morning. He said it’s the worst he’s ever had . We’ve still not heard from derby for his next appointment.

My blood sugar was 19.0 today and 21.7 the other day. I'm sorry to be such a grave disappointment to DCUK. I love @ickihun and @eldergarth and @Tinamarie. The reason why I don't check my food labels is because they're mindboggling. I don't want to go blind or get gangrene in my feet. Lord Jesus, please help me and all my friends on DCUK.How are you @JohnnyBaker87? and @tina_marie?
I've just been told I've got a learning disability that runs alongside my Asperger Syndrome. It doesn't affect my literacy as my command of English is very astute and prolific it's just my numeracy and my ability to function adequately in the community. I'm moving to my assisted living next month.
How are you @JohnnyBaker87? and @tina_marie?
