Just got back home. Well there was wine and cake, there were also cocktails and pavlova -neither of which I sampled. Had some nice beef and veg with my wine and cake very civilised lunch not like the hen parties of my youth that's for sure. How's the cold @Diamum5972 ?

Slightly better thanks, still got the drippy nose and dry eyes but at least I can hear again! I'm getting weighed on Wednesday so I might go out on my bike tomorrow weather permitting. Glad you had a good time, it's my older brother's birthday next week so we're all going out for Sunday lunch this weekend. I shall aim to be as good as you lol

It's not a hard and fast rule as I suspect it depends on what I've eaten but red wine can really suppress my BG's for post dinner reading... ... white less so.... I stick with red....

I had quite a restless night last night -woke up 90 minutes before my alarm went off and couldn't go back to sleep Took my BG when I got up and it was 7.3

I think so - luckily I haven't got anything planned for today so when DS has gone to college I might have a little rest

Hope your cold eases soon lizanne. I am going to the Diabetic clinic and Asthma clinic soon. Then will rest later

I got no sleep as well, mind you Ive only.had 3 nights sleep in the past 2 weeks so Im used to it. FBG 6.0. Sorry to hear you all have colds, Im thinking of you all, get better soon.

myself I slept like a log but my dreams are really strong at the moment and sometimes a little odd.... our toilet fell through the floor a couple of nights ago... in a dream.
No frost this morning, so far.... warm front coming in?

It's official! If I was a man I would now have man flu. This is worst cold I've had for years and I don't half feel sorry for myself thanks for good wishes @hankjam, you're so kind. Hope everyone got a decent sleep last night and has apeaceful day today
