Hi, Johnny!Good Morning, my lovely friends on the www.diabetes.co.uk Type 2 Life Forum,
I am at Tate South Lambeth Public Library now. I read absolutely adorable comments from Ikihun, Debra Sue, Sable Jan and Diamum. I am going to go back to artificial sweeteners and when I make my Shopping List on Tuesday for Thursday exclude granulated sugar. My ADHD is the cause of this although I do realize I need to step out of the diagnosis and take proactive responsibility in accordance to the good, upright way I was raised by my Mum and Dad in Finchley, North London in the 1970's.
I had another slip by eating a Full English fried breakfast with carbs in the hash brown, chips and toasted white bread, but I realize to get my blood sugars back to the 4's, 5's and 6's I have to make some changes. I know I can do it and believe in myself implicitly as you lovely people all do. My friend Lee treated me to the brekky. Maybe bacon, egg, tomatoes cooked at home would have been better minus the Devil Carbs.
I feel well today and feel the ADHD is being much kinder to me.
Have a lovely day and splendid weekend. The Library isn't open tomorrow so I'll next be online on Monday 20th June, 2016 at 1:00 Post Meridian.
Yours faithfully,
John Baker

"Devil Carbs" - that's funny!
I'm glad to hear your ADHD is being kinder to you - that's good news.
And it's good to hear that you and Lee are still enjoying breakfast together, but not so good to hear about the hash browns, chips and toast. That's quite a heavy load of carbs, Johnny, which is going to spike your blood sugar levels. If you'd just had ONE of those items it might not have been so bad, but all three is not good.

How about next time you leave out the carbs and have extra bacon and eggs instead? That would be a winner!
I hope you have a lovely weekend, Johnny.
Hugs
