Bom Dia to all the gang!
@ickihun , @lizanne , @Liam1955 @eddie1968 @Sean101 and you know who you are. My daughter brought our lovely 7 yr old grandson down to join us for a few days sun n sea. It was just the tonic I needed. I cutting quite a dash on the beach with a headscarf and a black eyepatch. Keep imagining hearing arr-harr type noises as I go past. I cooked outdoors every night, squid, various fish, piripiri chicken and tonight it's fresh tuna. Still striving for low carb but the bread and beers are a bit tempting. Xx

Yummy @nomoredonuts it sounds moreish. Especially without the nasty carbs. Well a little carb shouldnt hurt if had none for days!

This is how it was done in my family..... My nan loved family get togethers , so if it was dinner at hers this is how it would go.. Nan cooked , then rest of us did pots . That's my mum aunty and us grandkids . Then either my aunty or mum would make tea. Oh as I was the eldest grand kid I would set the tables . At tea time it was the same , so you see we all mucked in or we didn't eat. When my grandparents came to our house it would be me cooking and me my brothers and sisters doing pots. Nan though would be on hand watching to make sure I did it right. I have been doing that since I was 8.

I do wonder if these tablets are making me bad tempered, do you think?

It could just be your environment. We all react differently to different meds.

That's true. I know fluctuating bgs and pain makes me moody but I'm always upset when I'm in pain.
I'm feeling ok this evening but now resting.
I have a few jobs to do tuesday morning and then a few on the afternoon so that will be the test to see if I can walk even on both painkillers. If not I have crutches for support. I really don't want to use them but I must get some appointments fulfilled. Did you get offered crutches or sticks @eldergarth ?

We were not offered anything so we bought a stick ourselves . Its been five weeks now and were still left in limbo. Ron has even got himself knee and back brace for work.

Flippin hec its 6 years since I sold my last business and according to Vonnie have not done a days work since. Well I beg to differ, but today I start my two days a week at Citizens Advice Bureaux Can they cope with me is the question

Getting clothes and wellies ready for nursery today and tomorrow buying extra jogging pants. My toddler has gone into his fleece and regatta jacket, just. He's looking forward to wearing his new robot waterproof with matching wellies soon too. He's growing up - fast!
Exciting times for little one.

Dark earlier now but garden lights look better this time of year.

I'm sleeping more at night since reducing my levothyroxine tablet! Less palpatations. Naproxen taken an hour before bed helping me nod off.

I bet you'll love it @KevinPotts . I bet very rewarding. Users wont show their appreciation, very time but they are at their most stressed at time of contact. A calm, factually correct director definitely needed and i know appreciated.
So many people unaware of their rights. Even the most educated ones. Its easy to assume educated ones know more but you may get a surprise.
I nearly applied for a full-time position a CAB a few years ago but family needs came first. A job at times would be difficult as dealing with the public is very very tasking. Some cannot listen well or will pretend to understand but only hear what they want to hear! The joys of dealing with the public. Ha ha

@ickihun, hi you ok. You sound very busy, I'm ok still around, having trouble sleeping, don't go to bed till early hours having sleep problems again, tho I've always been a night person, 5am went bed other night couldn't sleep before. 7.5 bg this morning not good, tho been stressed last couple days, remember Halloween when my daughter was younger, she's 25 now, time goes fast so enjoy take care of yourself
