Type 2 Life

I've had a completely painful day today with my gum disease infection. My GP says it was caused by poor oral hygiene. My GP prescribed me some more antibiotics and some anti-inflammatory mouthwash. I don't understand why I'm self-neglecting so badly. I had lovely parents and a lovely sister and I used to brush my teeth morning, noon and night at the same times. I also used to keep my bedroom tidy at home too as a little boy and help my Mum with turning the mattresses and changing the bedding as well as weeding in the garden and on our allotment. I was very well brought up. They were thoroughly nice to me, my mum, dad and sister.

My GP also advised me to go to the emergency dental hospital on Monday morning in addition to taking these medications.

What about me then? Just part of the fixtures and fittings now am I? Well next time you want help don't call me.
You're his hero. For sure. Even I can see that, from far. He must feel bad having to rely on you and suffering with him.
The good times ahead will hopefully erase this awful time. I'm hopinh sooner rather than later. ♡♥♡

Let us know how you get on Johnny. Use a soft brush, for now. Keep at it gently and softly, regularly with mouthwash support.
Hope it improves quickly for you.

I'm OK getting in practice for Monday.

Well today has been busy but no walking improvement. I've been using sugar free liquid ibruprofen instead of naproxen. So far so good. Weakness in leg/s is also still there. I used to be able to push weights in gym more than most men, most of my life. I'm a pathetic excuse for a bodybuilder now. I can cope with it as long as its not being ignored or not helped. Neglect is sinful. Just over 70days to wait for my first msk appointment.
How is everyone today?
Looking forward to a meaningful weekend?
Has your weekend already started?

Is Monday a gp appointment?
No it's his pain clinic app at dead mill hospital. Everytime we go there things like this get to me . Hate that place . I'm fine elsewhere though. So heaven help them if they don't do something for him , then I kick off like I did when he went to the lipid clinic.

Hallelujah! I'm sure it will be helpful. I bet you both cannot wait to meet someone who can actually help. :) :) :)

I do hope so. Then we can get back to sleeping together.lol

We must not ever forget our partners = Vicky's Partner, my Hubby and of course Ron's lovely 'cup cake baker' Wife = @tina_marie :) these people are 'our rocks' and normally don't receive the recognition that they so well deserve :). William x

Don't be too hard on yourself Johnny. We know you are doing the best you can and you have the best of intentions, but sometimes life doesn't always go as smoothly as we hope it will. You have a lot of issues to think about - diabetes, diet, quitting smoking, autism, your teeth, to name but a few - and it would be very hard to get everything perfect, every time. Focus on what you can do today and trust that you'll be able to do more tomorrow. Sending hugs x

What a life! Woke after 2hrs sleep to a hypo and very heavy congestion. Bit annoyed because I thought I'd cracked it the night before. Maybe I do have bronchitis then. I'll want to sleep later so its get myself to walk-in centre this morning or wait til monday on heavy medication?

Good morning, my lovely, kind friends,

|I feel a lot better today. It's occurred to me that the sores in my mouth are scalds from where an acquaintance, Matthew, gave me a mug of Lemsip with boiling water from the kettle without putting any cold water in it and due to my autistic sensory sensitivity I didn't know how scalding it was and gulped it down. This resulted in parts of my mouth being scalded/burnt. This morning I have had 1 choc ice and one strawberry and vanilla Cornetto ice cream. My blood glucose level was 10.6 mmol, a bit high.

Morning guys. Called nearest walk-in centre and it has been closed years. Other one is a good 30-40mins away so I'll be medicating til monday. :(
Just lying down problem or walking. I'll survive.
I have a suspected bronchitis off my mum. She got anti-biotics and it went. Maybe I needs some. Ive road it a few days to allow my own immune system to fight it but it needs some help.
Hope everyone has a good saturday. Frozen outside. Warm inside.

Hello @ickihun I saw your post on the morning blood sugar thread and came over here to hope you had decided to go to the walk in centre. If you phone 111 can't they make an appointment there for you? Monday is a long time when if effects your breathing. Take care. Wishing you well
