Type 2 Life

Today's my mom's Easter dinner. First family meal since diagnosis. I am going to eat so many mashed potatoes and stuffing today. Totally prepared to run for an hour on my brothers treadmill and drink all the water in the world haha.

I have had a terrible day. Although I answered all the questions correctly at the religious Christian ceremony meeting which are very interactive and teach us about God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, I've been in a lot of muscular discomforts in my lower to middle back and right-hand side owing to muscle spasms and muscle cramps. My viral infection hasn't gone away yet, either, and it couldn't have helped to make the wrong decision to go to my friend's house at the other end of South London in my carpet slippers in the pouring rain, either.

Today I cooked a baked quarter pounder beefburger, oven-baked steak-cut oven chips and lightly-boiled, lightly-salted garden peas earlier on. Now at 7:02 Post Meridian British Summer Time my blood glucose was 18.3 owing to the fact that I ate 5 slices of Basics White Bread with an olive spread which I made chip butties out of.

I'm not looking after myself very well. This independent living lark is wreaking havoc on my neurodevelopmental and physical health. I hope the Panel grant me a place at this supported housing, even my psychologist reckoned I would perform my ADLs better in an assisted living environment and help me to deal with my unpredictable routine which can occur in my level of Asperger Syndrome.

Happy Easter, @Ragmar, hope you had a lovely family Easter meal!

My blood glucose reading, after medicine, just now was 6.9. I've just eaten some melted cheese. I'm trying to lay off the carbs as my friend's mum called Wendy, who is in her seventies, told me that starchy carbs by the body's metabolism are converted to sugar. from johnny baker, a sufferer of asperger syndrome and adult a.d.h.d and insulin-resistant type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Dear Type 2 Life Tread Users,

I'm so sorry that I haven't logged on in the past few days. I went to my religious meeting today and learned about the friends of God in the Holy Bible called Job, Daniel and Noah and how they humbled themselves in the face of adversity to do God's Will and proclaim the good news of His Kingdom. I also ate 4 slices of lush cheese on toast today before going to the religious meeting ceremony and upon arriving home my blood glucose was 8.1. I've taken my metformin and Lyxumia injection today for my insulin-resistant type 2 diabetes mellitus. My back is aching a lot today but my viral infection has gone. Also my care coordinator and new corporate appointee have granted me my clothing allowance for suits, white shirts, ties, shoes and black socks for my religious meeting ceremonies and the ministry and my personal bible study teacher's wife is going to assist and support me to buy the clothes very soon.

Yours sincerely,

@JohnnyBaker12021970, a sufferer of Asperger Syndrome, Adult ADHD and insulin-resistant type 2 diabetes mellitus.

So far, in the last 24 hours or more, I ate 4 slices of cheese on toast for breakfast yesterday morning, then yesterday evening I ate 2 large Beef Grillsteak sandwiches, and a big bowl of boiled baby potatoes, each sandwich out of 2 containing 2 grillsteaks and each sandwich being halved making 4 halves. This morning I drank 2 cans of regular 7-up and 2 Coca Cola Zero's and for lunch today I ate 2 whole toasted corned beef sandwiches, each one halved. I took my medication this morning, too. My blood sugar, now, at 3:55 PM BST is 7.4. I'm now 137 days quit from cigarettes but using the NRT mouth spray a lot.

How is your back @JohnnyBaker12021970?
I once had a discussion about lchf diet causing more sensitivity in pain with debrasue. She agreed since going low carb she felt more.
Just don't go too extreme with low carbing. I think I have fibromyalgia nowadays but I am getting older as gp reminds me. A funny age around the 50yr old mark.
Hope your OK and see gp if not hun.

Good morning, @ickihun, my lovely friend. My back is very achy especially when I get out of bed or out of a chair. My gp suspects that I'm in the early stages of fibromyalgia, too, exacerbated by sensory sensitivity in my Asperger syndrome. I'm having real difficulty with low carbing due to demotivation and avolition in my asperger syndrome and now weigh 87 kg which puts me in the obese bmi category for my 167.6 cm height. With regards, to my supported housing, my senior occupational therapist care coordinator is coming today to assess my ability to carry out my adl's for the face assessment for assisted living in a 24 hr care capacity.

I'm sure they will see how obvious how you need more support.
Good luck with your assessment. ;)
You deserve this. You're such a kind friend. I wish i could give you what you need but I'm sure assesser is very kind too.

My care coordinator is a precious 24 carat gemstone, @ickihun, my lovely friend. Every human being is precious, and they all have feelings and lovely noses, eyes, ears, lips and they're very precious to me. I love people and animals and everything my heavenly father created. God saw that it was good as the book of genesis tells us.

Hi folks
Hope you are all ok.
Alan, OH is waiting for colonoscopy appt. for suspected bowel cancer. It will be the second one he's had.
@JohnnyBaker12021970 when will you find out about your assisted living place?

Have many gone? Why?
@heh hope all goes well for your OH . X

Dear @heh, @ickihun and @tina_marie, I had a good, constructive home visit support appointment with my senior occupational therapist care coordinator who is supporting me with my autism spectrum disorder and adult ADHD yesterday. She assured me, with a pledge, that 2018 would be the year I'll be living elsewhere than this terrible flat in assisted living accommodation. A lot of professionals have contributed to my FACE assessment, including my senior clinical psychologist, consultant psychiatrist, Lambeth and Southwark MENCAP autism support worker as well as representatives from SOVA (governmental safeguarding of vulnerable adults association).

I've also had visits recently from an associate whom I befriended through my friend Matthew who calls himself Max who is a 62-year-old unconfessed alcoholic atheistic gentleman who, when under the influence of strong apple cider and strong Polish lager, can be very verbally and emotionally abusive, shouting and swearing at me (which he calls "jokes"), and last Wednesday, he kept disrupting my Bible Study with Kevin my Bible Study Teacher. He's been coming around a lot recently, and has rather outstayed his welcome although I haven't got the confidence nor the courage to tell him it's unacceptable of him to keep oppressing me for fear of repercussions. I've been praying about this to God the Father, through His Son Jesus Christ, but He hasn't revealed much in the way of a reply, except revealing a teaching of His son Jesus Christ in the gospel according to Matthew chapter 7 that instructs us not to judge others as well as inspiring me with the words of Psalm 27 that tells me that "The Lord is my Light and my Salvation, whom shall I fear?"

My diabetes has been quite variable with spikes in my blood glucose especially after Max encouraged me to eat a very sugary glazed, ringed doughnut or two.

Lots of love to you all with my best wishes and sincere kind regards,

@JohnnyBaker12021970, a sufferer of Asperger Syndrome, Adult ADHD and Insulin-Resistant Type II Diabetes Mellitus xXx.
