Went to the chemist today to pick up Ron's repeat prescription, and there on the counter was pamphlets headed beginners guide to low carb eating . Could of done with that a couple of years ago , oh well better late than never .
Manor pharmacy. That's exciting @tina_marie . Was that in one of the pharmacy chains on an independent?
@ickihun I'm not sick of hearing it . When are you having it do you know?. Good on you for the weight lose and with all your problems i think your doing really great. wonderful attitude.I've lost another 1kg in 2wks so that's 2kgs in 4wks. I might just get 3-4kgs off in 6wks like requested by new surgeon.![]()

May have sweated it off thou. Ha ha
Plenty of water and protein replaced even more of my small carb allowance.
Its a long road.... even with an op.
I quite envy the American style. If insurance covers it or you pay yourself.... it only takes weeks or months if you're unlucky.
I'm sure it's been 18mths since I said yes to my diabesity specialist. Another month or more yet....
I must have the patience of a Saint.
I'm sure it will be worth the wait.![]()

Especially if I can get unpainful walking... running/jogging, cycling and swimming again. A numb toe or two won't stop me.
I bet you all sick of hearing about my upcoming op. Even I'm bored with the anticipation.
I don't have a date but surgeon has sent me for the compulsory endscopy investigations and I'm booked for it at the end of the month. Gulp!@ickihun I'm not sick of hearing it . When are you having it do you know?. Good on you for the weight lose and with all your problems i think your doing really great. wonderful attitude.
Oh I loved living in Croydon. I had a 2 floor flat new build in walking distance to IKEA and frankie and benny's. If I remember right a little arcade too.I went to see my consultant psychiatrist in my care programme approach review meeting and we discussed my self-neglecting and other symptoms and she says it sounds like I've got a nasty type of Depression in addition to my Asperger Syndrome. And also, Vanessa, my care coordinator is soon taking me to look around a new 24 hour care supported housing establishment in Croydon to meet the staff and the other residents.
I think I've lost the 3kgs surgeon asked of me. My scales are hit and miss. I forgot to measure in Boots. The kids are a huge distraction. So not long to go now. Of course you are nervous about it, but am sure all will be fine @ickihun.
Thank you.Your doing well. It's really hard to get weight off and more so if you have other health problems that prevent it. But 3 kilo's is a milestone. Every kilo is a milestone. Good on you.
I've told you Max is wrong. You are brilliant. Dont listen to lies. PleaseI think you're doing absolutely superbly too @ickihun especially considering you're in so much pain/discomfort and have the kids to look after. You're doing much better than I am and you've got heaps more illnesses plus a family to love and look after. You're an inspiration to me even though I only have myself to look after and I can't even do that properly. It's just believing I can, my self-confidence and self-esteem are so low I'm full of self-doubt and self-consternation and it doesn't help situations with Max bawling at me and calling me stupid most of the time. But I won't have that to worry about in my Croydon 24 hour care supported housing flat thanks to my care team and my good church friend Graham for their hard work and encouragement and DCUK, of course.
So please be encouraged my dear @ickihun I think you're doing absolutely splendidly and working really hard at your diet and weight loss in preparation for your bariatric surgery as well as impeccable disability management techniques. I'm proud of you.
I know Jesus is too.

I love ham & tomato buttiesI prepared and ate a small ham sandwich with thinly sliced tomato
What a very thoughtful person you are @JohnnyBaker if you think you have low self esteem and low confidence and full of self doubt then you more then make up for it with your thoughtfulness and humility. I don't know who max is but i wouldn't have him calling you stupid because your far from that. Not a lot of people know themselves which is what humility is. Good for you. I hope you do get your 24 hour care supported housing flat soon.
