Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

Yesterday
Up at stupid o'clock o_O so tea x 2
B: Chia pudding, sardines on Tesco finest protein bread toasted, milky coffee.
Tea
L: Broccoli & stilton soup, 2 boiled eggs, raspberries & Activia NAS yogurt.
Tea
T: Minced beef & sweet potato stew with buttered cabbage, G&T.

I've had a bowl of bran flakes with semi skimmed milk!
 
Breakfast:.
Before breakfast cup of PLJ in water
three small slices of low carb bread, three slices of bacon. Cup of tea
 
Lost my breakfast I put in lol.
Lunch. Chicken salad four small potatoes.


Tea Chicken salad three Jacob thins with butter. Cup of Tea.

Two eggs,bacon sausage and a slice of bread

No lunch

Dinner
Half a pork rib tack tomato and salad onion.

B: Mushroom omelette, milk

L: Cheese & pickle butty on wholemeal, 2 plums, strawberries, Mullerlight Greek yogurt.
Tea
T: Roast chicken, 3 roasties, peas, gravy.
Squash
4 squares of 85% chocolate.
 
B. Two fried eggs and mushrooms in butter with green tea. L.Slice of zucchini and spinach quiche. D.When i have it will be, Silver side with a few green vegies.
 
Breakfast: Bowl of quick oats with honey and semi-skimmed milk, a cup of fruit tea. Some crackerbreadx2 with peanut butter.

Lunch: Mushrooms cooked in bertoli spread on 2 thick slices wholemeal bread.

Tea: 4 slices of wafer thin ham, spinach, baby toms, advocado and squirt of lemon juice, with a zig zag of mayo over it all.

L: 6 Ryvita crispbreads, Saint Agur cream cheese, Mullerlight yogurt.

T: Pesto chicken traybake, wholewheat pasta, red wine.
 
I don't eat breakfast - Never could face food in the mornings
So Brunch it was then @13.45PM
3egg omelette with basil and curly parsley and 5grams chicken fat washed down with a very satisfying mug of 'creamy' coffee made with the following -
100ml Asda special price soya milk... it bumps up the protein content of my brunch.
100ml Acti leaf almond milk (Its the Aldi brand, after I bought it, I realised it had maltodextrin which bumps the carb to 1.3g per 100ml -:arghh: Im not throwing it out....working my way through the 2 litres I bought 100ml at a time)
100 ml Asda long life almond milk which is too thick so comes in handy to water down and also lower the average carb level caused by the acti leaf. (Yeah I fancy myself as some kind of alchemist);)
Which keeps me full till my main meal at Dinner.
BG 4.7mmol 2hrs after eating.


Dinner will be whole chicken leg with a few crumbles of blue cheese, served with 100g nuked broccoli, seasoned with a few crumbles of knorr chicken cube, chilli pepper, black pepper, and 30ml of Cider vinegar.:happy:
 
This mid morning I ate a chicken burger and chips like a bad boy i know, I am at work and had a weak moment. Did my BS now, almost 4hrs later and its 9.3mmol. Is this possible? I have not had anything since.

My Rx is 2g Metformin nocte and I took it last night at around 20:00
 
Rice pudding for breakfast with jam and crumpets
Cream bun and hot chocolate for morning tea
Curried chips wrapped in Lebanese bread and an apple pie for lunch
Spaghetti with meatballs and Ice cream with caramel topping for tea

Then the phone rang and woke up.

L: 6 Ryvita wholegrain crispbreads, cheese spread, fruit cocktail, Activa NAS yogurt.

T: 3 rashers bacon & vegetable bake, red wine.

B: Raspberries & Greek Yogurt, 2 poached eggs on Hovis small wholemeal toasted, water.

L: 6 Ryvita wholegrain crispbread, cheese spread, pate, Activia NAS yogurt.

T: Minced beef & sweet potato stew with cabbage, coffee.
