Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

nakd bars= 3 teaspoons of sugar in each small bar

br-- a scrambled egg in butter with coffee/cream
snack-- leftover streaky bacon slice
lunch-- ham salad with a little tomato and homemade mayonnaise; celery with cheese; square 90%choc. + tea
dins-- poached salmon with butter, cream and mint sauce; small amount of leeks; a few strawberries, cheese and 1/2 a buttered poppadum. square of 90%chocolate and coffee/cream

B: Small amount of chia seed coffee/cocoa/peanut butter/nuts rasps + some aldi greek yog
L: Breaded haddock and salad with a portion of asparagus flan
Pre: 4.7
D: Sea Bass, scallops, salad, avocado/toms/garlic(lots)/GreekEVOO(lots), white wine and water, 2 chocs
Post: 5.5
avocado a bit firm.... but better than the one I threw out....
 
Breakfast: 5 Krackawheat, butter, tsp marmalade
Dinner: Lemon couscous with salmon (same as yesterday)
Tea: a nice tasting strange mix... chicken tikka with butterbeans and spicy couscous to thicken it as I added the butterbean juice and there wasn't much chicken to sauce; Bar of sugarfree mint chocolate
Snack: Krackawheat crumbs and butter..... new packet looked a bit battered and when I opened it a lot of broken bits fell out..... was checking if there were any full ones for breakfast tomo then remembered I'm having breakfast out tomorrow so it will be Full English and tea will then be same as today
 
Breakfast: bacon and fried eggs
2nd breakfast: bacon, pork sausage, scrambled eggs
Lunch: Rib (cap off) grilling steak
Dinner: ground beef
Second dinner: bacon and fried eggs

That's more bacon than I usually eat, but I had to get up at 2:45 am for a function - hence 2 breakfasts.
Normally I don't have breakfast.
 
Just had bacon, eggs, mushrooms and half a Lidl bread roll - long day on the bike today so packing seeds, nuts and water.
 
Breakfast: 2 slices of gluten free bread, with cheese and a pile of fried beef slices, white coffee with Xylitol
Lunch: Chicken soup with lots of veg and a bit of meat, followed by 3 Aberdeen Angus sausages with baked beans, tea
Yummy;-)
Off to fetch a prescription for my youngest princess:-)
 
Sunday ... Well you all know my oat style breakfast now ..

Lunch ... A roll with cheese and tomato

WW biscuit ... This afternoon ...

In a while it's my roast ...
Carrots potatoes parsnips ... All roasted in olive oil .. Green beans ...
Cauliflower cheese with almond milk ...
Chicken but not for me of course ... Yorkshire puds mini ones .. Bought of course ...

Later will be strawberries with a teaspoon or two of ice cream ... Happy Sunday ... X
 
I know some round here like them, had a look on Thursday night and they seemed quite high carbie for me... :(
some of the natural type bars are but between meals they're ok for me as I don't do low carb per se, just eat to my meter

plus there's that "available carbs" thing.....
 
B: omelette with stilton, walnuts & mushrooms cooked in butter
L: cheese pie with spinach & rocket salad; tomato, avocado & onion salsa
D: chicken thigh with cream, mustard & tarragon sauce; roasted cauliflower & fennel; green beans (are green beans ok on LC diet?) Followed by coconut & lime custard with strawberries. Well it has been Father's Day! Yes he also ate this for dinner and claimed to like it :)

Sounds nice, haven't tried cooking walnuts in an omelette....
Pretty sure green beans are ok.... the Low Carb version of this thread would be able to advise better I think though.....
