A naughty partners birthday cake induced 8.3 this morning. Well I didn't eat any on my birthday so I allowed it yesterday. My sugars were disrupted there after so just relieved not worse and because chocolate doesn't interact with metformin very well for me I didn't take any yesterday either so maybe cake didn't raise me too long with my superduper insulins.
I admitted cake to dietician as I had to pick it before my appointment. I thought she may have smelt it. Ha ha
So hoping tomorrows fbg will be back to normal. Well at least below 7.8mmol/l.
