Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

17.2 first morning of testing (9 hours of fasting/sleeping) just bought a monitor yesterday.

Hi. You won't regret buying a meter. I would recommend keeping a record of readings before and 2.5 hours after eating along with a note of what you ate. If it jumps more than 2-3 mmols from before to after, it's probably down to too many carbs. The records will soon help you take control. Good luck.

Out for tea last night. Shouldn't have had the Mocha, at least it was a normal and not a large one. I felt really sick after it, so not a great ending to the meal!
