17.2 first morning of testing (9 hours of fasting/sleeping) just bought a monitor yesterday.

Hi. You won't regret buying a meter. I would recommend keeping a record of readings before and 2.5 hours after eating along with a note of what you ate. If it jumps more than 2-3 mmols from before to after, it's probably down to too many carbs. The records will soon help you take control. Good luck.

Those are not monks they are friiars and if I became one most definitely. would be higher. The friar in the middle to the rear is my son.
