FBG 6.9 at 5.23am. Had late meal of cheese burger followed by some cream. Don't know if this has pushed blood glucose up or because I didn't sleep very well. BG has crept up during the day.

    5.3 at 4:00 am.

Another low one, I might have a crack at getting back in the fours again.

Lack of sleep does that to me, as does stress - which probably causes a lack of sleep!

Yes know the feeling for the last few months, since diagnosis and the anxiety that followed, I have been waking up at about 4:00am just about every night so I get up and watch the TV for an hour or two until tired again. Its only in the last couple of weeks that my sleep has been improving, hoping last night was just a glitch.
