    This is my first post. Today my fasting BS was 5.5 well within range. However, my latest A1c was 154 which is out of normal range. I continue to fight against my urge to consume carbs of all kinds. I was diagnosed some 30 years ago.

    Evidence exists of a 4.5 for me @5.28. (4.9 @ 7.23) @JanetMcDowell just what sort of person drinks white wine? - bee'ave treacle (you are from Essex, right?):angelic:

    6.2 @ 6:30 - somehow I managed to gain an extra kg in 24hrs from somewhere despite having just 16g of carbs yesterday.

    6.4 today - I have also put on 2 pounds in weight - don't know why - only thing I can think of is I have gone lower carb higher fat recently so I think I will have to cut down on the fat!:banghead:
