Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

9.9 this morning and not happy. I've had wisdom teeth out recently and am struggling with the gum disease and infection. I didn't eat a single carb yesterday and yet my body seems to want to pump sugar into my blood still!
Yes, it's discouraging when you know you've eaten nothing the previous day that would have caused this higher-than-expected reading.

I take it your dentist has prescribed antibiotic cover for your gum disease. Here's hoping your low carb lifestyle will start to pay off again, once your infection clears up and your general health improves.
