5.3 at 6.15 today.Dont know how or why,but its nice to see a 5+ every now and then.
Meanwhile, how are your readings immediately before and two hours after meals? Are you doing everything you can to keep carb intake low?15.6 this morning on waking after going to bed on 20.4..... I seriously need a better diabetic nurse, I once a month telephone call just isn't doing it and I can't contact her as receptionist told me she doesn't take calls!!
When this happens, more often than not, it's the first test which is unreliable for any number of reasons. You were right to retest.Woke up to a BG of a. 6.1 mmol/L, measured again after a few minutes, then a 5.7mmol/L, went for a 3km hard run, got it down to 5.3mmol/L. All before breakfast.
Q. I have fresh aliquots, but I have aliquots that expired in the late spring 2024, are they still good/reliable? I've tested against the fresh ones and the measurements are identical..... thus far.
Can you not email the surgery? Sometimes I find its easier. At least then your worries and concerns are down on the system. If you ask for the email address of the Surgery you can just email and they should forward it to the nurse15.6 this morning on waking after going to bed on 20.4.....
