Diabetics are known to be more susceptible to GERD than the general population, not that it's any consolation.

So sorry... I was told to sleep on my left hand side. It places the eosophagus above the stomach. If I sleep on my back, which I like to do, I often wake up with some burning in the back of my throat. My dentist says of my cavities, is because my saliva is too acidic. Cause I have no other dental problems. So, I try to sleep on my LHS as much as I can. I also keep a glass of sodium bicarb, + apple cider vinegar fizzy mixture by my bed to extinguish any overnight fires. (this is not medical advice, just what works for me.) Thanks, saved/bookmarked1 mmol/L equates to approximately 18 mg/dL. So, in order to convert from mmol/L to mg/dL, the blood glucose value is multiplied by 18.0182.
