Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

A disappointing 8.4 this morning. Suspect a sour cream and muesli late last night was the culprit. That's off the menu now...:)
Hi mj224: Im finding out personally, that all cereal spikes me. Some cereal (Shreddies for example) to extraordinary high BG readings, others not so high, but still way too high. (Up to 20's mmol spikes)
I've taken all cereal including Porridge off my menu.
Perhaps somebody whose knowledge is part of the 'genius pool of information' on this forum, have alternative products to suggest. I for one, miss my cornflakes.....
Im still learning about food.....

Morning @mj224. Yes, I've taken the easy route and avoid breakfast cereals altogether.

Tbh though, any snack eaten late at night is likely to play Old Harry with your FBG readings the next morning. If I were you, I'd aim to have a good, square dinner as early in the evening as practicable. If you get the munchies later on, a spoonful of Marmite in a mug of hot water works wonders for some of us.
