Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

High fbg 8.2 for me. Went to bed early and no supper, no inj, and no supplement. I just couldnt be bothered to put in the effort last night. I needed a night off.
I'll be a good girl tonight. I promise. :)

Diagnosed a year ago. But every morning my numbers are about 5.2-5.8. I have hit the age where i can no longer eat chocolate at all but have tried both chocolate and ice cream at night time, to see how it would spike in the morning. It will, usually to about 7.2-7.6 area. Obviously, I dont eat those products. Generally 5.2 -5.4 area most mornings. Last few days have cut out all bread. Think that will also bring it lower. JUst had my blood tested last month. Seems i need to get a copy of it this week so I too know what my BMI, mmol, etc; numbers are.

So 5.3 this morning

7.6 this morning

Not measuring as much (but still do have strips on prescription)

I have to adjust to having 1x glic a day and not 2x .... perhaps work harder at getting lower figures, just not last night as was celebrating with sisters and had a chinese takeaway :)

5.3 5 AM... Can't understand it as there was quite some excess yesterday with champagne, 100% choc and 2 bowls of Oppo and straws:) naughty but nice :)


Diagnosed 13/4/16: T2, no meds, HbA1c 53, FBG 12.6, Trigs 3.6, HDL .75, LDL 4.0, BP 169/95, 13st 8lbs, waist 34" (2012 - 17st 7lbs, w 42").

6/6/16: FBG AV 4.6, Trigs 1.5, HDL 2.0, LDL 3.0, BP 112/68, BPM 66, 11st 11lbs, waist 30".

Regime: 20g LCHF, run 1 mile daily, weekly fasting.

12/6/16 - Morning.

Up since 3am - pacing about and it was 7.7.

But NOW it is 6.9 - Happy with this :)
