Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Since I got the Abbott Freestyle Libre. I discovered that my actual fasting numbers overnight pretty much stayed the same as my last reading before bed, they only rose in the few minute before I got up and tested. I also discovered today that a egg eaten as soon as I could then caused them to go back down again , so the actual raised reading only lasted an hour . I'm trying v low carb , diet only too and down about 3.5 stone , current hba1c similar to yours - you might be similar if you had more detail.
Excellent liver block @CherryAA . I'm the same.
I've relaxed my block so my hba1c will show higher but at least I know how to block it and if I'm in dire straights I can rely on it to lower my averages, oh and fbg. Having relaxation til after xmas then I'm up for the fight again.

My FBG has been persistently stubborn. Always 7.8 - 10.00
Rest of the day I am in the 6's down to 5's after swimming.
Yesterday I read about Apple Cider vinegar reducing FBG, but didn't have any, so used Balsamic Vinegar of which I took 4 tablespoons
with usual snacking (one of the addictions I just can't budge)
This morning FBG 6.2

Thoughts? Others' experience?

Diagnosed T2 8/14
Current BMI 31
Current Hb1ac 6.0
Weight loss since diagnosis 10kg - 15kg - fluctuates
Diet: no carbohydrate (most days)
Alcohol moderate
Exercise swimming
Average daily range BG 5.9 - 8.8
No medication

Hi Cherry AA.
Take my FBG after getting up, shower etc.
Tried the few nuts during the evening trick and normally have eggs for breakfast.
This mornings FBG was 8.4. Hope it goes down after breakfast and some exercise.
Goodness knows why FBGs getting higher. I've been seeing monthly averages rise, too.
If trend continues might have to try Metformin but I've avoided any drugs up to now.
Must dash...taking wife shopping .
