Don't worry about going onto meds. Your FBG will come down. It's more important to have good overall numbers ON medication, than high numbers without. The risk of diabetic complications isn't worth being med free. It doesn't mean you've failed. And that goes for everyone. I've seen too many members, who post on this thread, struggle for a long time with high blood glucose whilst trying to gain good glycaemic control. There's no shame. Good luck.
