Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

After two days of mid 6s, I am back in the 4s - 4.7. That and a mild sunny day in London, great start to the weekend!

Did you test an hour after exercise? If not. My bgs higher straight after exercise. Yours was probably lower on testing hour later. Mine always is.
Go girl! I wish I could join you :(
Thank you ickihun.... it is only a pretend walk on my exercise bike thing. Could you get one? I got mine at Lidl and the shop had some in on Tuesday wherever you are might still have some

The block didn't work again...apart from the alarm going of at 2.00am (I had been up at 1.30 to wee) my bloods were 11.4 at 9.30am

Alarm thing wouldnt work hun as your body digests slower in the night. It wouldn't be digesting in time maybe.
I have the answer!! I will have two ounces of cheese before bed ;)

I hope you don't think im nuts but just read cheese and animal protein can make arthritis worse. Try a different protein? Nuts or fish/seafood. I'm doing to abandon my cheese to see if my problem goes. I might have to buy yogart - fruit free as i need the calcium. I'll keep you updated. :)

We diabetics need to eat yoghurt. Also turmeric is said to be good for so many things including arthritis. I have had pains in both legs, not necessarily arthritis but pains nevertheless and they have gone!

That would be good! Thanks

I have a treadmill but I don't believe in inflicting more pain than I'm in. Neccessity is enough pain for me. I hope reduced cheese and meats will make a difference. I'm not a huge cheese person but love my fresh meats since starting lchf. Seafood will have to make a come back.

I wish you well! I am not a seafood person :wideyed: nor am I really a fish person. I can manage Smoked Salmon, Kippers and Pilchards anything else makes me urge! :)
