Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Good morning everyone. I made a whole wheat pizza with lots of mozzarella cheese, anchovies, thinly sliced mushrooms and red onions for dinner. Had only a quarter of the pizza and this morning my fbs was 6.0. I suppose I should only pizza once in a blue moon.

This morning when replying to Freema I noted that my FBG levels rise when ill or beginning to get ill. Some research suggests this might be due to hydration issues at these times. Anyone know more about this - seems linked to this thread as hydration seems to settled me back to trend.

but was it worth it for the occasional treat? Do you know which ingredient caused the rise? Could you make it on a wholemeal wrap instead? At least then you could eat a whole pizza for the same hit. I've seen a recipe but can't find it now.
