Thank you! My doctors can barely believe it. I’m surprised too. It’s hard to imagine sometimes that this happened to me.Thanks Prancy, it does feel awesome, yes, I am very happy indeed.
Well done on losing 5lbs since the last doctor visit, that is good progress and I am sure you will be at goal soon. Good luck with the plastic surgeon consult, that will be very interesting to think about.
Have a great time with your friends!
It should help by increasing your metabolic rate, that's the theory. And maybe ease up on the restrictions for a few days, to confuse your body into giving up the extra weight. Good luck, and keep on keeping on!I stayed the same this week, it is really hard now. My calorie deficit is just 300 calories/day (averaged out) and I am loathe to lower my calories because I just get too hungry and I am also working on building some muscle now. I am hoping more muscle will increase my metabolism in the long run.
Anyway, nothing for it, but to keep going!
That’s understandable. Hope you’re feeling better.I’m just weighing myself 1 a week as on steroids for lung cancer and weight is up and down
I agree and relate. I splurged tonight and got a decadent dinner of a Greek gyro. I checked for nutrition content, so I could bolus for the carbs and omg! High in everything that I don’t want! Lol. But, it was rather tasty. I won’t be having another one this year. I did work out though and spent over an hour in tne gym with cardio and strength training.Yay, that is great, well done @filly - every ounce helps!
How interesting to meet with a nutritionist, @Prancy and sometimes it does do the body good to have more calories and yes, I agree about upping your protein now that you are weight training.

I’m consulting with plastic surgeon about skin surgery today. So, that’s motivating.Hi @Rab51 that sounds very tough, steroids can mess up your blood sugars and your weight, they have caused me issues in the past when I have taken them for my asthma. I hope you are doing well all things considered.
Thanks @IanBish yes, that is great advice, my body has certainly become very efficient at what I am doing already, so I do need to confuse it a bit. So far so good - my muscles are aching like mad, so something is happening!
Oh, I can imagine you enjoyed that Greek gyro, @Prancy they are so tasty, we deserve the odd treat here and there otherwise life would be too boring, but yeah wait a few months until you get the next one, LOL.
I hope everyone is having a great week and staying safe and warm in this cold snap!
Oooh! Let us know how it went.I’m consulting with plastic surgeon about skin surgery today. So, that’s motivating.
I blame this cold snap, Filly, it does make us extra hungry.More hungry this week and it showed..... up 2.4lb 215,7
That sounds tasty, I will do that, thank you!@LeafyArts - Certainly the cold does make me hungrier. A mug of Bovril helps, and Marmite similarly if vegetarian/vegan.
Well done, Ellie - and yes, I am very jealous of your beautiful spring day. Spring seems a long way away in this part of the world right now...71.6kg. Struggling to keep under 72kg. Still trying to reach 70kg.....
Just to make the rest of you jealous, it was a beautiful Spring day here today and I did lots of gardening....
