Weekly weigh in - Fridays

I lost a quarter of a pound this week, which I am quite relieved about because I have been struggling not to overeat. The hunger at this point of my weight loss journey is getting harder and harder to cope with and I am unwilling to reduce my calorie intake. I have several options to change things up diet-wise, so I will experiment and see if keto, carnivore or fasting will do the trick to lose the last couple of pounds.

On the NSV (non scale victory) front, I had my diabetes review yesterday and the nurse was really pleased (and amazed) at my weight loss and fitness levels. Just got to see what the blood test results say!

OK, back after a long break, and 71.5kg . (So that's about 0.5kg or 1lb lost in the last year :) )

Would still like to break the 70kg barrier but as you can see I haven't been desperately motivated ...

To be honest, I think it;s more of a question of trying not to gain any weight.

Motivation is everything, I think. Not gaining while you aren't watching the scales is quite an achievement - I certainly can't do it and I am sure most of us can't, so you have done very well. Good luck with breaking through that 70kg barrier!

I’ve returned after being away from the thread. I haven’t stopped reading though and cheering you on. I just was tired of my plateau I think. Doing the right things and staying stuck can be frustrating . But, I stayed with it and continue with my healthy lifestyle, eating good food, managing BG, and daily exercise. I’m now down 3 pounds more and am 3 pounds from my goal. Something tells me they are going to be the hardest to lose yet! But…..it’s something to look forward to and I’m planning a little celebration when it happens. Best wishes to all of you!
