What things do you always keep a stock of in the food cupboard, before diagnosis I always kept rice and pasta so now they’ve gone I need ideas. Shelf stable non perishable

Nuts
Olives
Seeds and Milled seeds (lidl and aldi do them in different flavours)
The occasional nut bar (aldi or lidl but watch the carbs and sweeteners)
A product called Cheesies https://www.cheesies.co.uk/pages/cheesies-trial-pack-offer

Perishable but longer lasting:
Cheese (it can last months)
Cream cheese (ditto)
Double cream often lasts 2 weeks
Eggs also last longer thna you think

Make use of freezer for meats and fish

I’ve donated loads of food today that I can’t eat so I’ll be going to Aldi tomorrow I’ll definitely pick some of those suggestions up. Thanks

I use rice and noodles made from Konjac a Japanese veg that has been used for hundreds of years. It’s in a packet in a brine which smells fishy when you open it. But all good you rinse it in water to remove smell then use it in your cooking. It has zero carbs.
Almond flour, coconut flour, lupin flour for baking.
Low carb veggies and salad
Nuts and seeds
Berries I don’t eat other fruits
Low carb, keto wraps
Some low carb plant based products.
Lots of herbs and spices dried and fresh
I use stevia as a sweetener for baking etc
Some sauces and mayos only using small amounts and counted in my carbs for the day.
I cook and eat vegan keto.

Cupboard - Always have a variety of dried herbs and spices, a tube of garlic, can make any meat or low carb veg come alive, 85% chocolate, ground almonds, extra virgin olive oil- red wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice for dressings.eggs

Fridge - mayonnaise I use it a lot especially on hot veg & meat, prefer it to butter, strong mature cheese, cream cheese, Greek yoghurt. Double cream on occasion, cooked meats, above ground veg and salad items

Freezer, cauliflower rice, keto bread (bought on the internet) leftovers and prepared meals. Always have chicken and other meat in the freezer for cooking

Pork scratchings.
Nuts.
85 and 90% cocoa chocolate bars.
Onions.
Low carb crackers and low carb seed bread, the one I use keeps for months.

I always have a large stock of veggies for both myself and my 13 guinea pigs.
In the fridge there's always lots of cheese, aioli to go with my pork scratchings for a snack, and hummus to go with chicory leaves. All of those keep pretty long.

While I think for many that's true.
And not disputing it's worth

I particularly dislike the smell & taste of fish.

And that was one of the first things I tried when I went LCHF.

Frankly I found it disgusting,
so a word to the wise for anyone like myself, with a strong dislike of fish flavours..

However I do believe for the vast majority it's very acceptable.

It actually doesn’t taste of fish or seafood at all. And once rinsed no odour.
Contains Konjac root, water and stabiliser 526.

In no particular order:

Salami/prosciutto/coppa that doesn't have sugar added. Lasts for ever. Lidl or Aldi usually
Nuts (almonds/hazels/brazils/pecans)
Olives
Garlic, Ginger, Coriander, Cumin, Turmeric, Chilli/cayenne etc.
Butter, lard, dripping
Cream
Smoked Ham (lidl again)
95-99% meat sausage (Lidl or Aldi)
Eggs
Cheese. Lots of cheese.
Pork rinds/scratchings
Low carb "bread" rolls
Canned tomatoes, tomato paste, etc
Onions
Some canned pulses and legumes since I've found I can tolerate these - NB I always wash the starch off them before cooking
Fish and meat in the freezer, although I tend to buy meat (and green veg) as needed.
Always have fresh basil and coriander available.

M&S deli section have lots of good grab and go for lunches eg. Rollitos (cheese rolled in ham, three varieties) two peeled hardboiled eggs with spinach and a range of cold meats and lots more, usually 3 for £8. I keep tinned chopped tomatoes in my cupboard to make sauces for meatballs or Bolognese etc. less sugar than jars of pasta sauce and you can add LC additions and herbs and spices. Tinned fish or meat for back up. I find frozen cauli rice best, packs of 4 portions available at Asda and Iceland, microwave for 4/5 mins. Have a look at the “What have you eaten” threads for LC ideas. And most of all GOOD LUCK you will get there.

Always have an array of spices, oregano, rosemary, Turmeric, pepper and sage to name a few.
Walnuts
Peanuts all in small doses - honest!
Inulin powder
Peanut butter
Loads of herbal teas
Pea protein taken on work out days

Fridge - Palma ham cannot get enough of it at times. Steak, chicken thighs, cream cheese, liver pate, Benecol no added sugar, lemons, green mixed salad, green beans, avocado about 6, Tuna, pink salmon generally eaten from the tin! Mayo, horseradish sauce, corned beef, eggs about 2 dozen, cream, lactose free milk and almond milk which does not spike me yet the flour will!?

I recommend SauerKraut (fermented cabbage) as a side dish. I learned how to do my own at home in youtube videos. Have them in jars.

Since white cabbage has very litle carbs and fermentation eats another part of it, the result is excelent, I could eat a whole bucket and my libre 2 sensor wouldnt tell the difference. High fiber too and pro-biotics.

Love saueKraut had some mixed in with my asparagus after my workout

I pretty much keep the same foods in my cupboards as others have posted so won't repeat. Also keep things like almond flour, and psyllium husk, for keto buns plus a supply of low carb ingredients for "keto king" bread. If I really want some "pasta" I use black bean spaghetti doesn't have much taste and I don't have much at a time but it works ok as a filler and doesn't spike me - you can also get edamame and soy pasta online as well - never tried those so not in my cupboard.

I am sitting here laughing. Cheese and cream cheese. I have trouble keeping either in the fridge let alone for weeks and months. I always have nuts and a good stock of eggs.

Yeah - in my pantry are: mixed roasted salted nuts, konjac root-pasta and rice substitutes (great no-carb fillers, and no fishy smell in my kitchen - you have to rinse them), fake-sweetened jellies and chocolate mousse packets (my faves are WW brand - don't spike me and I get to have dessert), lots of almond flour and psyllium husk powder for low-carb baking, low-carb store bought bread if I need a break from baking, lots of no-low carb drink packets (coffee, tea, herb teas). Absolutely - lots of eggs. Don't last long enough to have go in the fridge. I have a whole herbs and spices drawer - so they are not in my pantry.
