While I think for many that's true.I use rice and noodles made from Konjac a Japanese veg that has been used for hundreds of years. It’s in a packet in a brine which smells fishy when you open it. But all good you rinse it in water to remove smell then use it in your cooking.
You're doing well. This diabetes malarkey does get easierI’ve donated loads of food today that I can’t eat so I’ll be going to Aldi tomorrow I’ll definitely pick some of those suggestions up. Thanks
It actually doesn’t taste of fish or seafood at all. And once rinsed no odour. While I think for many that's true.
And not disputing it's worth
I particularly dislike the smell & taste of fish.
And that was one of the first things I tried when I went LCHF.
Frankly I found it disgusting,
so a word to the wise for anyone like myself, with a strong dislike of fish flavours..
However I do believe for the vast majority it's very acceptable.
Still tastes foul to me. Happy if it works for some though. It actually doesn’t taste of fish or seafood at all. And once rinsed no odour.
Contains Konjac root, water and stabiliser 526.
Love saueKraut had some mixed in with my asparagus after my workoutI recommend SauerKraut (fermented cabbage) as a side dish. I learned how to do my own at home in youtube videos. Have them in jars.
Since white cabbage has very litle carbs and fermentation eats another part of it, the result is excelent, I could eat a whole bucket and my libre 2 sensor wouldnt tell the difference. High fiber too and pro-biotics.
I am sitting here laughing. Cheese and cream cheese. I have trouble keeping either in the fridge let alone for weeks and months. I always have nuts and a good stock of eggs.Nuts
