Interesting 're the small portions I've noticed that I can handle some more carby stuff now from a bg perspective provided its a small amount. However issue is keeping it small as those foods seem to trigger so many 'hunger' and want more of them feelings! For me luckily I can keep to small amounts of non nutritive sweetener stuff but I find it much harder with the real carbs so mainly stay away when I can. I see it as a bit of a dangerous drug.I'm another one conflicted as to where to post.
Posting daily food and accompanying activity, fasting, temptations and tribulations is good for me, and hopefully for others, especially newbies....but not many will find us here...but here is where my support group is.
I can't understand why the powers that be don't open up a "what have you eaten today - some chat" thread.
Maybe we should just let the old one die off...
I really don't know.
Any way today I had
B: eggs, ham, cheeses nuts. 1 biscotti
L: a wonderful fennel, orange, walnut, olives and red onion salad. Later some nuts and cheeses stolen from breakfast
D: meatballs in lemon leaves, salmon and avocado salad. Pistachio ice cream. 2 large glasses wine
Bg has been nigh on perfect, even after the ice cream. But I'm hungry!! Portions are quite small
Food is a complex thing for most of us and so wrapped up with our emotions, circumstances and likes\dislikes. Hence why we keep falling foul of the main thread guidelines because for most of us life doesn't always go the way we'd like it to or how we'd planned it to go!
