Weird isn't it? They are numb but really hurt!! Can'r really explain it to peopleI'd forgotten about themMy legs have been more numb lately but I know that because they react to me being off colour.View attachment 30687
Yikes. I have the clear plastic one but it was impossible for catching them on the floor. I changed it to one of these things that looks like a pastry brush with plastic bristles on a long handle. You secure the offending creature in the bristles then deposit it outside (or out the window if upstairs). Makes it a lot easier to catch the speedy Gonzalez monsters on the floor. Just found the link

Handle keeps you far enough away from the things.
Sounds like you needed forest bathing too after your experience with the car it’s so frustrating when they go wrong.Evening all
@shelley262 I love the sound of your stress busting forest bathing. Glad you’re back to normal now.
Late breakfast after having to wait for AA to fix my car after I’d dropped Mr C at the station and it conked out - 1/2 avocado scrambled egg and smoked salmon. Coffee&cream
Was going to skip lunch but got hungry after trudging into town with bags of records and stuff for charity shop - 1/2 pack rollitos and a small handfull Callebaut choc buttons with clotted cream. More coffee.
Dinner kobi kheema ( mince and cabbage curry) with cauli rice and a dessertspoon of dahl. Havent tried lentils since lc so fingernail chewing now while waiting for 2hrs.
A spoonful of Oppo choc and hazelnut ice cream afterwards.
Girls are off to the gym in a bit but don’t think I can face the January crush. I’ll do something from Youtube at home.
It is a difficult one to explain. I think my OH sort of gets it now as he does offer to work on my legs if they seize up at night to try to get some movement in the muscles.Weird isn't it? They are numb but really hurt!! Can'r really explain it to people
Loving the weebles, they wobble but they don't fall down? I beg to differ in my case
Hi all hope good day had by all - mine was stressy this am but to correct the stress I went ‘forest bathing’ this afternoon two hours walking into the depth of forest near home drank decaf coffee with cream from flask by a fast running stream and so now back to my usual self.
I feel your pain. No 2 was having a good scratch too so I suspect the weekly comb will be a few days early. Wish the schools would get a bit more proactive in getting parents to regularly check their kids heads instead of worrying about upsetting them.Evening all
Breakfast just a cup of tea
Lunch - 2 chilli & lime chicken quarters with some mayonnaise
Mid afternoon - cappuccino
Had a wonderful dinner planned but in laws ‘popped’ round for 2 hrs after work so I had to entertain them whilst doing homework and the usual after school routine, husband was off at dental appointments still trying to resolve all the Vegas issues he had with not much success - seems he may need hospital referralsand then whilst sorting out my princess for bed I saw a headlice. That’s right, one week back at school and here we are so I’ve spent the last 90mins conditioning and nit combing every inch of her hair - there’s a lot of inches, it’s down to her bottom and incredibly thick!!
It now feels too late to cook, too late to eat, and my own head now feels that itchy and I know it just psychological because I’ve been looking for crawling things for so long but now I’m gonna have to go all through my hair too for peace of mind!!
Oh well, it’s almost tomorrow and it can only be better than today
I check her hair all the time as the idea of her being riddled with them stresses me out way too much as she has so much hair! I only did it Saturday. Thankfully I’ve caught early as only found the one I saw plus 2 freshly laid eggs so I’d say he jumped on board her head today as hasn’t had time to start a colony. French plaits as tight to her head as I can get will be tomorrow’s styleI feel your pain. No 2 was having a good scratch too so I suspect the weekly comb will be a few days early. Sorry - it’s like yawning. Just talking about itching is contagiousOh I remember those days. My 3 girls were forever getting them. In the end I had their lovely long blonde hair cut short - I think they looked cute with their little pudding bowl hairdo’s but they say I scarred them for life! It was so much easier to deal with when they had short hair though, I don’t regret it.
You’ve made my head itch now!
