Go ahead - I will find you and ....I like it that you know what you like and you're not afraid to say it! You do realise I'm going to have to restrain myself from saying "hit the spot" at any given opportunity now!

So probably he’s measuring much higher than he is. How about a fitness band that measures bp on a regular basis. I’ve got quite a cheap one and it matches my home machine fairly well. Plus is you can get measurements taken regularly with less worry and get th3m s3nt to your phone with a record for your gp. Would be interesting for you to see it when he’s not stressed. Other thing that can help is just taking it lots of time anxiety goes eventually the more you do it. Bit like getting over a fear the more exposure you have. Home monitoring of some description would clearly be way forward and records taken to gp hugs xYou are right, we do need to check. The problem is that he has serious white coat syndrome. We even have issues monitoring at home. We had an incident a few months ago at the eye hospital when they checked and it was through the roof due to anxiety. Ever since, he's had an aversion to checking.

I'll remember that going forwardAs long as you don’t say “basically” in every sentence
He would and I have in the past. Plan A is to start home monitoring again, so we'll see how we get on with that first. He has major health anxiety issues, so if I can get some stats (as @shelley262 suggests) first, it would be a good start. @shelley262 We've discussed the fitness tracker in the past....he's worried he would over obsess about it!Do you think your husband would give his consent for you and his doctor to have a conversation about what happened? I'm assuming his doctor knows (and understands) about his anxiety issues.
That chicken is truly decadent

Wonderful chart so that’s why I need chocolate I must be short of all those minerals!
Liver does well also, so it’s liver, followed by chocolate puddingWonderful chart so that’s why I need chocolate I must be short of all those minerals!
Without a doubt! The Hotel Chocolat hazelnuts in 80% chocolate doubtless have even more health giving properties
It's a great place to stand and inhaleWhen shopping last night I stumbled into a hotel chocolat and came home with a selection of flavoured dark chocolate delights. Know I can only eat one at a time but very excited at the prospect - never been in that shop before. I may well now be making monthly visits
Was he well hydrated? I kept having this issue with my brother and BP tended to be low because he just wasn't getting enough water down him. It is scary though. My brother was 6 ft 4 ins - it was a long way to drop. Hope Mr B is improved.Well, I was thrown a slight curve ball for today. Mr B decided to have a funny turn and faint in the bathroom at 3.30am. It was scary for both of us and the poor lad didn't feel up to getting back to bed until 5.30. So, I just sat with on the bathroom floor until he felt well enough. My alarm for work goes off at 6.15am! Thankfully, my boss is pretty understanding about these things. So, half a day of leave (to catch up on sleep) and half a day working from home. And poor Mr B feeling a bit sorry for himself. We're pretty sure this incident is BP related, as he has had the odd issue since starting on Ramipril back in June. Any sign of a repeat performance and he'll be packed off to the GP pronto.
Breakfast (very late): Strawberry & Lime Chia pudding. Coffee & cream
Mid morning: Almond milk cappuccino. Mr B had a pecan cookie.
Lunch: Mr B had grilled spiced chicken with fennel, avocado, cucumber and chilli salad with lime dressing. I wasn't that hungry, so I had a few nuts and a baby Bell.
Snacks: Mr B had a few nuts.
Dinner: Fathead pizza with thinly sliced asparagus, green olives prosciutto. Served with green salad. Cocoa with almond milk and cream.
The Fathead pizza was amazing and really hit the spot after all the stress of the early hours! Not quite sure how I managed to restrain myself and only had a quarter!
