What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Revolting stuff! It didn't go to waste though - the dogs quite liked it.
That's why I like dogs, they are great garbage guts. They are easy to give medication to as well, wrap a pill in bacon and throw it to the dog and say "CATCH".

Try doing that with a mongrel moggy you have to tie them up in a sweater with just the mouth showing the put the pill in deep till it gone down.

I've got two Labradors and a Labradoodle - tablets are not a problem - just shout the name of the relevant dog and throw. There's not much they haven't eaten at one time or another - remote controls, frozen whole raw chicken, mobile phones, wallets, credit cards, actual money, blood glucose monitor (x2), door keys

Shame we can't have more than one smiley in, that's worth a, like, agree, winner, informative, optimistic.

Edit: Typos

I guess that’s par for the course with Labs - made me laugh a lot though.

@SlimLizzy I’m so glad you got to have a good anniversary celebration in the midst of all the stress.
@Brunneria hugs for the floppiness. Hope it passes soon.
@zauberflote thanks for not posting a picture of the half eaten squirrel - might have raised some eyebrows appearing under the thread title on the front page!
My food today:
CWC during the morning.
L: Chicken korma and leftover cabbage poriyal. Both of which have been in the fridge for quite long enough.
D: Out at local restaurant. Smoked salmon starter, then calves liver and broccoli. Studiously avoided the enormous bowl of chips that was placed in the centre of the table. 1 glass red.

Way to go, but I had to google french press beaker.

Meh, there are half eaten kangaroos alongside most roads here...

But did your house cat bring them to you as a present?

@SlimLizzy HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!
@Chook happy dogs but that’s too bad the cook couldn’t enjoy it, sorry

@DJC3 well...at least it’s Low Carb Keto Carni Skippy!!!
Good night and good morning all!

I read that as "all the compost ingredients". Should gave gone to Specsavers

Bed 6.9 FBG 6.4 but still with a DP surge. Just catching up before I go to Aqua. Haven't been this week as the instructor was Ill on Monday. Got word that Hubby's new wedding ring had arrived so first order of the day was to go collect it. He's now happy to have a wedding ring again.
B. Tassimo Americano grande with a dash of cream.
L. Slice high protein bread with boiled egg and slice of roast pork leg.
D. Lemon sole with wilted spinach and veggie chips. Scoop of Lidls high protein ice cream and raspberries.
Off to get ready for Aqua now.

What a glorious day! I hope it keeps like this for the monthly marathon shopping expedition tomorrow. Does everyone else have favourites they get from various different shops? It used to be so easy, just Mr C and me with a trolley each in an Asda Superstore - now its a whole day chore with visits to seven different shops with separate shopping lists for each place.

So today is a day for using up fridge leftovers...

Breakfast: Bacon and eggs
Lunch: Cheese, cheese and yet more cheese - all different flavours of Wensleydale - but only small amounts of each
Dinner: Ham, cheese (Gouda) and egg mayo salad
Drinks: Still off of coffee so just still spring water

Bit of a cheesey day!

@maglil55 I have a feeling this wedding ring should go see a hand. Surgeon. Some kind of screw to attach the ring to the bone so he doesn’t lose it again? My niece’s hubby lost two before he turned 50. Or I know! Get him one of those $20 silicon bands. I bought one to wear during hospital stay for hip replacement. I feel nekkid without my band...
Another genuine spring day here, hoooraaayyyy!

Thank you for the Lidl roll update. Very disappointing

A new Lidl has opened very near me, is their ice cream better than Oppo carb- wise?

!

Is that because you are ill and don’t fancy it? I find that going off coffee is one of the first indicators I’m coming down with something, and conversely when I can tolerate it again I know I’m getting better.
The first inkling I had of being pregnant with no 2 was when I was offered a coffee and refused, then thought to myself ‘that’s odd, not like me at all’. Sure enough a few days later pregnancy confirmed and morning sickness started.

First thing after fasting reading so not really breakfast; a small glass of home made kefir.
Lunch: 2 egg omelette with cheese and spinach- all bubbled up Thai style.
Dinner: roasted pork belly with 5 spice marinade, greens and a hot and sour spicey sauce, apple sauce, blackberries.
