As you guys know, I'm not a pudding person, but do follow Two Sleevers. This came up today, whilst clicking around: https://twosleevers.com/blackberry-...YgFRtDJjBvVyqhTMb0BDAR0tW-_lRq6W9kphKB-Z59EH4
It looks pretty jolly simple. When I saw it, I thought it was red velvet cake, but no.
It's an American recipe, so I imagine 10g is the gross carbs.....minus 5g for the fibre and it will be 5g carbs. It will depend on the coconut flour you use though, as they can vary a bit in carbs.I was getting all excited as I've got the ingredients and fancied a hot(ish) pudding until I saw the carbs....

I know this careful personality from my parents. My mother had diabetes, which I thought was totally unfair as she was the most moderate person with sweet stuff I’ve ever met. Dad too. One square of chocolate, or 1 chocolate a day from the box, if any happened to be in the house. Never more than 1 or two very modest biscuit(s) with morning coffee. Smallish portions. Learnt in their childhood during the war I imagine. The diabetes genes have a lot to answer for.
I on the other hand .......
Evening all.
@gennepher and @Viv19 hope you both have better nights tonight.
@Chook just as you accidentally bought a table and chairs, so I accidentally ended up in Brighton today.
@DJC3 think I’m going to have to join in the fun and track down one of those cheeses.
Two meals today - not very far apart. Was shooting for OMAD but got very hungry so NE1 of an M&S bag of pork crackling and a stick of cheese just before 3pm.
Dinner a little over 2 hours later was ribeye steak with butter followed by dessert of extra thick Jersey cream with a few chopped Brazil nuts and a few cacao nibs. Oh, and having made pate with the lambs livers, I tried some of that. No thanks. I officially don’t like liver! Smell and taste both waaaay too strong.

Envy, envy, envy.... Brighton is lovely! One of my favourite places to visit when I lived in London.

Thanks Goonergal. My eyes are definitely at half mast.
I have to admit, I’ve never had pork crackling in my life. I mean this stuff that turns up in packets. But everyone is eating it! I’ve had some crispy roasted pork skin once in a blue moon, but never the other.
Goonergal, I really recommend chicken liver pate- it’s mild and very good. With or without brandy, and can be frozen. And that from someone who loathes liver, and hates to actually touch them. I really had to grit my teeth to clean those little devils.
Not sure that the OH actually appreciated the sacrifice.
I love pate especially chicken liver pate but really dislike both pork crackling from a roast and from a packet - tried lots of times but dosent work for me !I’d never eaten pork crackling - in any guise - before going keto. The Awfully Posh is my favourite - just pork rinds and salt as ingredients. I had a failed attempt with chicken livers a few weeks ago, so think I’ll be leaving liver of any description alone for a while.
I dont like liver, wont have it in the house but OH loves it so cooks it if I am away. Why not try the chicken liver pate in M&S? I am sure it was one of the better ones in this house. I certainly would be too faint hearted to make it!I’d never eaten pork crackling - in any guise - before going keto. The Awfully Posh is my favourite - just pork rinds and salt as ingredients.
