Omelette ingredients, bacon a optional extra.
Cage eggs. (3)
Mushrooms. (2 or 3)
Tomatoes. (n/a)
Shredded cheddar cheese. (80 g)
Pepper mix with extra chilli flakes, cloves. (Couple of good pepper grinds)
Salt to sprinkle over it when cooked. (( Good sprinkle)
Edit: Just did a quick mental costing of the daily ingredients, it comes to a bit over $4.00 for the meal, the tomatoes were wild from the block.
Low carb high fat food is just as affordable as the other stuff.
Didnt get a chance to post yesterday but if I can remember it went like this-
B: fried eggs on marmite toast ( Dr Almond flaxseed bread)
L:Ham salad, a very uninspiring choice that left me feeling cold and fed up having just spent all morning in muddy wet moorland, dog walking for an hour then waiting for AA to tow my car out of the mud. Felt like some comfort food so ham salad was a stupid decision. 30g Montezuma’s absolute black helped.

Played Articulate all evening with family. Mr C and I are undefeated.
@annabell1 sounds like you are juggling a lot of balls at the moment with meds, hope things improve. How was your baba ganoush ? I love it.
I found some at the fruit shop but it was $7 and quite small size so didn't buy it for that price as didn't want to buy it in case I didn't like it. I'll keep an eye out if price drops I thinkIf you can tolerate celeriac, it might be worth trying. It is similar to white turnip, but I don't think it has quite as much carb in it. You can boil and mash it, bake with something quite damp (eg cream and butter), or, shredded, it can go into a salad. It's just something a bit different, not spectacular, but maybe worth a try, if you can take it.

I prefer to keep all readings below 8 even 2 hours after food. FBGis notoriously stubborn to come down due to Dawn Phenominum, I am almost two years in and still find it tricky but there are things you can try like eating earlier in the evening or eating a smaller LC meal. The plain yogurt and raspberry breakfast may be two big most likely too many raspberries so you could play around with that too. You could look at LC breakfast ideas on Diet Doctor. The ideal differential between eating and 2 hours later is no more than 2. The LivLife bread is from Waitrose and some branches of Sainsburys do a HiLo bread (5g /slice but better toast imo). I would just repeat we all react differently so try different ways until you find what works for you. Good luck with it all.Thank you. Well if it is 7 fasting. Is more likely to be 9.4 after breakfast. If it is 5 is often a 7/8 on the greek yoghurt. Always high regardless on porridge and all bran, which is a shame as feel better for the fibre and substance with these on 2000mg of metformin. Will look for the bread you mention. Where do I buy it?
Thank you. Some fasting sugars are really good from 4.5-5.9. Then get random 7 or 8 ones. Quite stressful as worried not going to achieve the hba1c target. Then I’ll have to try another drug. Can’t see point in Jardiance as testing proves not a wonder drug for me. Guess it would be Sitagliptin out the two she mentioned as Gliclazide makes you gain weight and have just lost 2 stone since January and don’t want to gain it back. My BMI is 25 now. Conscious have wasted time experimenting with SGLT2s as I had them. Thanks. Will look at the bread in Waitrose. I can’t tolerate any carbs at all. Have tried wholemeal pitta with tuna. They come out at 9-12 in day and if have glass of wine with one for dinner in evening. 7. Wine seems to lower result. Only have one or feel rough. It’s hard to get your hear round. I miss the bran/ porridge as if don’t have it feel constipated. The bran/ porridge was only thing Jardiance worked on. Got 8.4-8.7 rather than 10s-13s. But then if I had pitta for lunch ( some carbs as needed on Jardiance) was 9.7. If I added potatoes or rice to dinner 10 plus. Stressful. So ditched that as felt more in control with low carb. Sorry for long response. Stressing. I am wondering if worth going private for LADA test as tried so hard since Jan diagnosis (96hba1c) and not got there. It went down 96, 72, 52, then 56. Grrrrr. So will have more drugs thrown at me if fail in Dec until 48I prefer to keep all readings below 8 even 2 hours after food. My baba ganish was good I hadn't made it for ages and found some cooked pureed eggplant that I had in my freezer so made a small batch. Do you make it?

@Millie74 just to add its REALLY important if you are on meds other than Metformin and you decide to reduce your carbs significantly you do need to speak to your Diabetic nurse in case you are in danger of hypos. There is a very knowledgable member who I am going to tag @Rachox to give you the benefit off far more knowledge than I have.
Best wishes.
Hug is for poor Dennis. Bit severe for a bit of chewing. I do hope Mr C never upsets you
