I have to say that looks and sounds amazing. I am a big lamb fan but Mr PM isnt but I do go to our local butcher and stash away a couple of his excellent lamb chump chops for me to have maybe not quite once a week but as often as we eat differently.Evening all.
Brunch rather than lunch today as ravenous by 10.15. Cafe meal of bacon, eggs and cheese.
Dinner was my best IP meal yet. Slow cooked shoulder of lamb with butter, rosemary, lemon zest and a touch of mint. Really tender and enough left for tomorrow’s lunch.

Thanks, good to be back! The chocolate is from Ocado and it's 28g carbs per 100g (90g bar). I'm currently getting 90% Godiva but I need a change now and again. There is one from the Divine range with lemon, but personally I find it a bit 'toilet duck'@Tori71 good to see you posting your meals again - looks delicious menu and the tumeric and ginger choc sounds amazing must look at it.
Thank you but prob too many carbs for me. I have montezumas as it’s only got 8g per 100g and I love the orange oil and almond varieties - would need to eat a lot less of it! but maybe a bar of the Divine may find its way into my Ocado shopping basket! Thanks, good to be back! Looks great, I love shoulder of lamb. Did you slow cook it in your usual way with just a splash of leftover meat juice for the liquid?
VERY productive work day, then hung a new and GORGEOUS door curtain between the kitchen and the ‘office’.
Even managed to get the curtain track level, which is astonishing considering that the ceiling, picture rail or door frame are not level in this house. Heck, neither is the floor. Lol
Yup!
Love montezumas, but finding the nutrition panel on online supermarkets is impossible. Most of my shopping is done on line for various reasons, and none of them seem to display it. I've even been on the Montezuma site!Thank you but prob too many carbs for me. It was in the Instant Pot using the slow cook setting on high (have concluded that the low and normal slow cook settings are useless) for 8 hours. Perfect! Just used juices from a previous meal in the bottom of the pot. The cooking process produces plenty more liquid.
Must try it. I haven’t actually used the slow cook function.
You did not try real hard then @Tori71: https://www.montezumas.co.uk/downloads/1453987565Nutritional-Examples.jpgI've even been on the Montezuma site!
Day 1 of my holibobs.
Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries and cream washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning snack: gingerbread carb killa bar and black coffee.
No lunch as was driving to holiday venue.
Dinner: take away crispy duck, ate just two pancakes and a smidge of sauce, followed by low carb carrot cake bought from home.
We used to pick them up from under the coconut palm trees before we cut them down...where dyou get the coconut?
I use this recipe:Whats coconut porridge like, where dyou get the coconut?
When I’m going to be out all day I prefer it to pressure cooking. I don’t think the keep warm function keeps the food warm enough for long periods, so rather than set off the pressure cook before leaving and rely on keep warm for several hours, it works better for me to use slow cook and then have a short (or non-existent) keep warm period.
