20 gms was about the total weight for egg, bacon and mushroom. I was stuffedYes I haven’t had a problem with odd quantities, but maybe it’s because I’d automatically ignore it if it looked mad. I judge most things by eye so 20gm mushrooms would be roughly a couple in my estimation.
No Hp torch/ blazer for us. No idea what one is though.
Was the tea comment what you had? I haven’t tried any lacto free. I’ll prob stick with the Alpro almond milk as I can buy it locally and it’s zero carb and I’ve got used to it in tea now.
Evenin’ All,
B: maccies bunless breakfast shared with mutt no 3 while 1 and 2 were at the groomer.
Had to pick them up early. Poor groomer distraught! Literally shaking, and I could see she had been crying. Bless her. Abjectly apologetic. Her hand had slipped while clipping No 1 and caused a slight cut (scrape?) on lower eyelid. Lots of blood, but she treated it, Mutt 1 was very stoic (for a change) and I had to reassure the poor woman. She is lovely. The cut/scrape is no bigger than a millimetre square, but it is VERY close to his eye, which is probably the main cause of her distress.
Anyway, we got home and he launched straight into python wrestling, so obviously no harm done.
L: and early B’Day meal out, since we both had the day off work. Used our xmas Miller & Carter voucher.
Decided to indulge (how many times are you 53?) so had their garlic prawns on gf toast starter, 10oz ribeye, aged 50 days, and creme brulee.
Interestingly, no interest in the carbs once they were on the plate. Left most of the toast (just mopped the garlic butter) and the jacket potato... waste of good butter! Did enjoy the brulee though.
D: absolutely not interested. I think my stomach is 1/3 of the size it used to be in my heyday. Lol.
Hope you feel better soon and the fever subsides. Yeah I know what it's like to just want your parents, I am glad mine live close by. Tea and lemon might help you feel a bit better. I offer consoling hugs, and good wishes. Because everyone deserves health and to feel ok and not ill.Today I have fever because my irresponsible Uber driver was coughing all over me 2 days ago . BG is higher than normal . There is a flu epidemic here so let’s see how it develops . Isolating myself at home ...
Worked from home and finished worked early .
Breakfast : a fried egg , 2 spoons of beans , 1-2 mushrooms , a few spoons of LC parfait
Lunch : a small bowl of soup , water
Dinner: will have chili in a few hours. Might have tea and lemon too.
Bf is taking care of his kid and I’m sick and need to work over the weekend . So I have to manage alone . Already missed him
Also hungry
Also need my mom, a lot
Also need a puppy or kitten to cuddle
Wish I could have some orange juice without sending BG to roof
PS:
Want a cream puff too ! I love to lick the cream
I’ve just finished a glass ( about a double) of the Hotel Chocolate cream liqueur. Zero carbs apparently but put my bg up from 4.4 to 6.8 at 1 hr. Blimey! Not sure what to do with the rest of the bottle now.
Happy birthday!early B’Day meal out,
Glad he’s okwe got home and he launched straight into python wrestling
I see on thr HC website it says 0 carbs but doesn’t list ingredients. Ingredients are listed on John Lewis website - explains the jump in BG: Fresh cream (from MILK), water, sugars (sucrose, glucose, maltodextrin), neutral alcohol, dark chocolate (cocoa solids (cocoa mass, cocoa butter), sugar, emulsifier (SOYA lecithin), natural flavour (vanilla)) sodium caseinate (E469), tri- sodium citrate (E331), glycerol mono stearate (E471), sodium stearyl lactylate

HC really do need to sort out their nutrition labels

You could give it to a T1 to treat hypo's...I’ve just finished a glass ( about a double) of the Hotel Chocolate cream liqueur. Zero carbs apparently but put my bg up from 4.4 to 6.8 at 1 hr. Blimey! Not sure what to do with the rest of the bottle now.
