What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

B - Bacon & Coffee with cheese
L - Turkey salad with mayo & cheese
D - Roast belly pork.
S - a naughty pint of beer.

The only problem I have with roast belly pork is this peculiar notion of having to share the crackling. It's all mine, Dammit !
 
B: Water

D: Lamb shoulder, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, cabbage & sugar snaps. Frozen berries with double cream.

P.S. I nicked the crackling whilst you two were arguing
 
B: chia pudding with berries
L: roast veg with chicken and olive tapenade
D: fish curry with okra
 
B: Habanero bbq almonds & 2 small spritz cookies (about 3 days left before they're gone!)
L: Large romaine/iceburg salad with green pepper and cauliflower
D: Red chili thai curry with shrimp, chicken, and cauliflower
Snack: mixed nuts.
 
Why does everyone's food sound nicer than mine ? *sulks*
 
It's harder to stick to LCHF whilst at my brother's house, woke up with a FGL of 7.9 (eek!) because I had to eat something unsuitable last night to bring my blood sugar up to a level that was safe to sleep at but I'm going to go purchase some more appropriate snacks today.

B flat white made with milk (tsk tsk I know)
S 2 sq 90% dark chocolate
L shakshuka (basically poached eggs in a spiced tomato, onion and capsicum sauce)
S pistachios
D ? we're going out so this may be fun haha
 
Yesterday I had
B: 3 savaloy sausages. Dicksons.
S: piece of a family pork and egg pie with jelly.
L: none
D: fresh mackerel and a baby bel.
S: last piece of pork and egg pie. (No more temptation) ;-)
 

I looooove shakshuka!
 
I like shakshuka too. I don't have it too often, though. Actually, I might do it this evening.

Update to my food yesterday... on the way home from an errand I got some chicken mini-fillets from a KFC drive-through.

L. Cold chicken leg with olives stuffed with garlic

D. Bolognaise sauce with courgetti and coconut and pysillium flatbread

S: 9 bar (peanut)
L: chicken and leek
D: chicken and mediterranean veg in a jalfezi curry paste plus coconut cream - a deliciously hotchpotched combo that i will probably never repeat. And 2 squares of 70% choc
 
B: chia pudding
L: roast chicken breast with tender stem broccoli, spinach and a mustard, lemon and olive oil dressing
D: Jamie olivers's whole roast cauliflower, see here. You've GOT to try this, so tasty!!!
 
B: overnight oats (1tablespoon) mixed with flax, linseeds, chia seeds, cinnamon and soaked in full fat Greek yogurt and a splash of milk; coffee with teaspoon of cream
S: 30g cheddar
L: tin of mackerel in olive oil with spinach, rocket, watercress, orange pepper, cherry tomatoes, almonds
S: square of 70% dark chocolate with coconut and mango
D: courgetti with baked chicken breast, pesto and creamed spinach (stuffed now so have foregone strawberries for dessert)

Still struggling to get to 5 portions of veg, let alone the 9 that my dietician talks about

Drinks - one tea, two green tea, litre of water and half a Fanta Zero.

D: Pan Fried Cod Loin in a Chorizo & Tomato sauce with some roasted vegetables.

S: glass of alpro coconut and almond milk
L: shredded cabbage with broccoli and cauliflower in gravy
D: whole tin of cod roe
S: 3 cod fish fingers (breadcrumbs)​

L - usual turkey salad with cheese & mayo
D - sausages with scrambled eggs, chorizo, red peppers & spring onion
