@DJC3 .
Could be worse.... many years ago I had a teeny tiny Yorkie who, if taken anywhere near a pub, would throw a complete tantrum if he wasn't given some beer (any kind) and a share of a packet of crisps (had to be cheese and onion). He, on his miniature majesty own, was more trouble than these three put together.
Okay.... Jersey Royal potatoes in melted butter .... they tasted every bit as good as I remembered but had a bad effect in BGs - pre-dinner 4.8, 2 hours later 7.9, 3 hours later 7.8. Not ideal - but possibly worth it for a once a year treat.
Thanks for the Jersey Royal feedback. I agree that could be worse and I might just be tempted, how many did you have?
Your old Yorkie sounds like the doggy incarnation of my husband!
Yesterday - Friday bed 6.5 FBG 6 4 so a bit better. As I mentioned, sinuses are bad to a hot shower was called for to loosen them up a bit. @Annb, I'm not surprised the way you were affected by the outing. That's why I took masked son with me so I didn't have to leave the car. @DJC3 - Poor Dennis. Hope he's totally recovered.
B. TAG and yet more Dairylea triangles this time with a couple of the GF super seeded crackers.
L. Intended to have the other pork thing stuffed with cheese but by the time we negotiated the chaotic outdoors it was too late when we got back.
D. The remaining meatballs with cauliflower rice this time. Added some cream to the tomato ragu (much better) and sprinkled more mozzarella over the top. At least I could taste it. More SF jelly and raspberries AND a DGF lemon & blueberry that arrived today.
@Annb - got to love grandchildren. My two did a questionnaire to see what they had taken in about the Covid situation. There's material for days but this stood out:-
If Covid19 was an animal what would it be and why?
6 year old - "Hmmm? A cheetah because it's very fast and kills people".
9 year old - "A Velociraptor because then it wouldn't exist".
Youngsters showing more sense and coherent thought than so called experts?

I know!
We took the dogs out for a park trundle, and the carpark was full, but the park itself wasn’t that full. The roads were busy on the way there and back...
Where are all these people going? And what are they doing?
Today we had the dubious thrill of making scrambled egg using the powdered egg I bought a few weeks ago, as a store cupboard backup. Definitely not the best eggs we have had.
The dogs wouldn’t even touch it! Hahaha.
Powdered egg will now be reserved for cooking, and spiced, herbed, dressed up eggs, where the flavour is provided by something other than the eggs...
Lunch will probably not be needed (and I have already snacked on a kind nut bar)
D will be either pork chops or chicken... not yet decided.

Was the seafront closed? Mr C gets road notification alerts on his phone because of his work and he was alerted that your seafront was road blocked closed.
