Hope your Hubby is doing well.Breakfast; raw gorilla l/c granola at 5am, then took hubby to day surgery. Decided to do a supermarket shop on way home (7am is a brill time to visit supermarkets!) Called in M and S Simply Food for the seedy crackerst no joy. Then one slice carbzone rye bread with butter and a mocha when I got back home.
Lunch: chicken ciabatta roll (oh dear, but feeling a bit frazzled waiting for Hospital to ring) . Too many carbs. Two squares of 85% lindt.
Dinner: bacon and mushrooms on a very small cheesy bannister potato skin - another nine carbs! raspberries and cream. two more squares of 85% lindt.

There's very gew things I've never cooked.... and artichokes is one of themThey sold artichokes at Lidl today!
I've eaten one once, prepared by my mum some 30 years ago.
So can you please share your favourite artichoke recipes before dinner time? Will of course have a look at the Google too to find out what to do with them, but nothing beats using someones favourite recipe.
And there was me thinking you were going to be fallible, like the rest of us, but no, it was a no sugar cake! I should have known!plus an illicit cake today.

Your pate sounds much more complicated than my artichokes, sounds amazing!@Antje77 love artichokes but I’m another one who has never cooked them myself I’ve just bought them ready cooked will be interested to see your results and how you go about it.
My cooking today was more pedestrian than artichokes- cooking chicken liver pate, see photo of pate just before put in fridge to set, I used:
I won't faff with cutting the tips off the leaves and such, so I guess I just drop them in a pot of hot water and boil!I've seen videos on how to cook them, but it's always looked so complicated
