IP is an Instant Pot. An electric pressure cooker, come slow cooker, come steamer.....wonderful thing. Many of us possess one. I had to force myself not to buy a second one. Mine lives permanently on the worktop in the kitchen it is used so often. There are lots of different models but they pop up on offer every so often View attachment 53500
I have an Instant Pot too, @RosemaryJackson - was persuaded by some on here that it would be a good idea and indeed it was, once I got used to it. Can be used as a slow cooker as well as a pressure cooker and lives on my counter next to the air fryer. The latter is used more often, but both are god sends.
Having said that, it was the old fashioned gas oven for today’s main event - slow cooked pork belly. Aside from that I’ve had clotted cream, raspberries and 25g of 85% chocolate.

Do try freezing some too. It works, although I prefer to use fresh. Not sure where my logic comes from on that, bearing in mind I use the cold start method with UHT milk.
It worked! Maybe a little thinner than with a yoghurt starter but I always strain as much whey off as poss anyway so it ended up thick and delicious like Greek yoghurt.
Now I just have to remember to save some for the next batch. I can’t see the Kefir being a big seller in this village so I’ll need to rely on my stock. View attachment 53505
Thanks for the freezing tip. That was going to be my next question to you!
