Now that's a BBQ!Two slices of low carb toast and vegimite for breakfast.
Slice or two off Amazing Grace's low carb cake she brought with her, when she came to do the dressing on my leg for smoko.
Roast of the day "beef rib" and veggies and gravy at the Brothers Sports Club for lunch.
Toasted cheese and onion sandwiches for supper at six.

BG dropped too low again (3.9 on Libre and 4.0 finger prick) so I am about to have some wholemeal toast with some liver pate that I've just made - no insulin, of course. I was going to chill it all down and put it in the freezer, but one of the 4 dishes isn't going to make it that far. I'll watch to see how quickly BG comes back up.
Very good reason for carrot cake.Absent yesterday as it was my Mum’s funeral, I confess I had a slice of carrot cake, probably as many carbs in that one slice as I’d normally eat in the whole day! My excuse? I did it in Mum’s honour, she loved going out for coffee and cake

L: 2 ready cooked chicken thighs (but let the cats have the skins). Coffee with cream
Gardening, interspersed with hm lc cinnamon cake and 3 hm lc ginger biscuits as I was cooking for the freezer!
D: cooked by hubby,, savoy cabbage rolls stuffed with fried pork mince and olives. Very nice indeed. 2 small glasses white wine

Anyway back on it today:
Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a phd bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and an Atkins bar.
Dinner: LC pork pies, coleslaw and leafy salad followed by SF strawberry jelly and cream.
