That's why I do it tooit really helps me remain accountable!
I had to download an app, think its called Photo resizer. Works well, and simplyYou folks post some amazing pics of your grub. Whenever I try with iPad, I find the files won’t upload. Too big.
Thank you I’ll take a look@Rachox UK Low carb podcast, episode called Keyto health with Keto Kev episode 1 has lots on oxalates you might find interesting
That's a good idea for a snack, Nutella on buttered crispbread, I can get low carb crackers, will have to be careful about how much Nutella I spread on though.thats assuming i can resist my chocolate and buttered ryvitas!
My dogs absolutely love carrots! For about 6 months of the year they are lucky, as that's when carrots are sold very cheap on the roadside for animal food, and I always have a large bag in my kitchen to feed my 17 guinea pigs. This means the dogs can steal carrots and I regularly find half a carrot and carrot sprinklings in my bed.@Antje77 dont know why but finding the half eaten carrot in your bed really made me chortle.
That sounds absolutely delicious!liver and bacon, Asian style. I sliced the liver very thinly and the same for the bacon, then an onion had the same treatment and finely chopped some ginger and garlic. Stir fried and finished with some chicken stock and some soya sauce.
@RosemaryJackson my advice would be not to fixate on your fbg as it’s always last to come down and don’t let your reaction to it colour your day - easier to say I know but it can be a bit of a cycle where you feel annoyed and say well I may as well eat what I fancy as it isn’t making a difference but your bgs may be even higher if you were not counting. Maybe your change of tactic should be doing just some pre and post foods for a few days to see if you can work out the food that really suits you best and take a short break from fasting ones. Important thing is to keep going. As many of us say it’s a marathon not a sprint you’ll get there if you eat things that suit you and also manage your stress. Enjoy your meals today. to stay on topic I’m about to have my usual hm full fat yoghurt in about an hour I tend to break my overnight fast after 16 -18 hours.A bit despondent today. Fbg was again 7.2. I have been so careful with my food, counting carbs, not eating after 6pm. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. I can't exercise so am wondering if that's the reason. Today I'm skipping bf. 1st meal will be chicken drumsticks airfried (I love my airfryer!) with steamed kale, sprouts and cauli, plus a spot of gravy (counted). Evening meal will be scrambled eggs with some cream and butter and grated cheese. Any advice would be very welcome. tia.
@shelley262. Thank you. I'll do the pre and posts tests. But it's not going down at night either. It's staying at around 6.8. BrianDoc advised to try walking as I can't exercise so will try that too. I'll try anything to beat this beastie!!!@RosemaryJackson my advice would be not to fixate on your fbg as it’s always last to come down and don’t let your reaction to it colour your day - easier to say I know but it can be a bit of a cycle where you feel annoyed and say well I may as well eat what I fancy as it isn’t making a difference but your bgs may be even higher if you were not counting.
