Oh sorry I missed the bit where you said there was meat in it. I love meat but I’m not sure I’d add sausages to a meat based sauce either. From the photo it just looked like a lovely thick veggie tomatoe-y sauce. I think I’d just add lots of cheese on top.
I deemed both of your comments very sound advice so I just put a plate of the spaghetti-sauce-like stuff in the microwave. (Can I call it a stew? Sounds better that way, much like it was a meal intended the way it turned outWell we wouldn’t like you not to use your cream !
That wass known as a "yum yum piggies bum" when I was a kid.so an anonymous piece of pork was perfectly edible but if this was then personalised as a nice piece of Percy Porker
I still sometimes tell my dogs that too when they get treats! That wass known as a "yum yum piggies bum" when I was a kid.
This reminds me of something my dear old mum would say if we had unexpected visitors. “Don’t fret, we’ll just put another cup of water in the stew”.Still working with the leftover asparagus and broccoli turned into some kind of stew.
Today it started a 4th life as creamy tomato soup!
Added some more tomato paste and another tin of tomatoes, water, a veggie stock cube, some dried oregano and cream.
Which turned it into over two days worth of soup, but now a bit low on the meat content. (Not much of the asparagus or broccoli left in the mix either, but that's fine, who needs broccoli in their tomato soup anyway?)
So I chopped a small chorizo sausage to very small cubes and fried the bits to have spicy and crispy meat 'croutons' in my soup. Very tasty, will do so again for tommorrow's portion!
That depends. All sorts of things might affect it - body size, what you've eaten etc. I think dietdoctor gives you carb levels for various drinks.? How much alcohol is ok for type 2 diet exercise only???
