@Annb youre clearly having even more tough times take care and hugs from me - I think I’m not infectious but I’m still testing positive for Covid so it’s a cautious virtual hug.
Sleep very beneficial when we can get a good night and I had 14 hours last night which has helped my recovery although still little hunger and small amounts but determined to take nutrition on board
10ish two boiled eggs
Lunch a couple of bits of cheese about an ounce in total with a couple of Brazil nuts and walnuts and 2 low carb seeded crackers with teaspoon of my hm cultured veggies followed by a few teaspoons of my hm yoghurts
5ish 2 spoons of hm chicken curry which usually have with cauliflower rice but wasn’t up to so instead cooked some couscous for OH and had one spoon (10g) which works out at 2.3 g of carbs so that may be a keeper if can keep to small amounts also had some hm mint raita . To drink,as not yet fit enough to drink any alcohol, had soda water with a dash of cranberry bitters - did really enjoy my small dinner so must be on way back to normal.
Thank you. I think I’m normally quite a fit person but have been really affected especially in my gut and the sheer tiredness but think I’ve had a mild version really and body has fought back but almost two weeks on I’m not back to my normal high energy busy self I’ll get there I just need patience which is hard and need to be well for going up to yorks mid week on caring visit so hoping testing negative by then.So glad to hear you are slightly better, Shelley, and hope you are well on the road to recovery now. This covid as a heck of a thing, isn't it? I think people are being a bit too blase about it now. We've gone from absolute fear to a kind of not-to-worry attitude. But there are still lots of people getting it - especially here in Scotland. The Western Isles hospital first closed its surgical ward last week, and then the rest of the hospital, due to covid. We were just getting back to normal too with our medical services.
Sorry you're having such a bad time. I feel you never seem to get solutions to your issues. After a truly horrendous 24 or so hours with my legs, I've only had some water until about an hour ago. I did break my fast then - once I could get up onto my legs - with some of the ham rolled up with some cream cheese. Dozed off again and had a slight problem with gastric reflux while dreaming about eating a sweet cake. My stomach clearly can't cope with sweet cake even in a dream.
Still not feeling strong but I'm hoping to have some baked cauliflower with some baked haddock. Easy enough to do but I might not. Just having my first cup of tea. That might brighten me up a bit.
My son kept testing positive but he was told that he wasn't infectious any more (I think that was after 5 days). They said that the test was probably picking up dead virus.@Annb youre clearly having even more tough times take care and hugs from me - I think I’m not infectious but I’m still testing positive for Covid so it’s a cautious virtual hug.

I feel for you with the vertigo. Mine has returned. Nothing worse than everything spinning. Thankfully, it usually goes of its own accord.Morning all. Kept the carbs right down yesterday except for 1 slice bread with butter and smoked trout (just remembered that @MrsA2) so hopefully salt intake was ok. I still have vertigo but not as bad as yesterday, every time I turned my head I felt like a whirlygig!. My cracked rib is much more comfortable, but I have a pulled muscle now. Plus cataarh. Ever since my daughter died, everything has gone wrong but I'm hoping that visiting my son in America in September will change my luck. I hope so. Today, I've had 2 chilli bratwurst for bf 4g carbs. Midday it will be roasted chicken drumsticks and green veg with a smidgeon of gravy with a teaspoonful of mint in it. Tonight 2 boiled eggs and 2 buttered Ryvitas. That should keep me under 20g of carbs. Can't find a 'hopeful' emoji.
You have such nice plates!Christened my new cast iron pan today - it was only just big enough for the steak! Reverse seared the steak using air fryer, then transferred to the pan to finish. Then put one or two of the big fatty bits into the air fryer to crisp up. On a decent OMAD roll.
