".... I have had mine a year and still do not use it much... ...."
I was given one a couple of years ago and couldn't get on with it at all. Sent it to a charity shop a month or so ago.Kudos for using the airfryer!!... I have had mine a year and still do not use it much... That said, I gave three instantpots with airfyer to friends last year, and none of them have used it even once!!
I have a Ninja which is also an air fryer. Love the air fryer. How is that even possible?
Think of the AF as a small, faster, fan oven. Anything you can do in the oven, you can do in the AF, if it'll fit. That said, there are a few stars, like chicken wings, legs, drummers or whole chicken (we tend not to have breast, unless using it for curry). Steak, lamb chops, pork chops with crackling to expire for. Any of the roasts - low and slow.
My OH is the main cook in the house and he'll more often than not do our roast in the AF starting it at 90c for a few hours. Far more economical than heating a larger oven for all that time.
To stick with the thread, we're having roast beef cold cuts this evening.

So sorry about your lovely kitty. They're family and it's hard when they're not there anymore.Odd meal, tasty though.
Was supposed to go swimming this morning, and buying groceries, and cooking. But instead I had to rush to the vet with a very sick cat. Once at the vet it was clear he wouldn't get better so he was euthanised. I loved that cat very much.
Outside the clinic I called a friend, who basically ordered me to drive by the supermarket and simply buy anything I like without planning a meal and don't look at the price. She knows me well, and knows my brain refuses to make decisions and insists that things like deciding on what to eat are a giant problem at such a moment, very happy she solved that problem for me.
I found a low carb wrap that doesn't taste like cardboard in the supermarket last week. Too expensive to have regularly but perfect to use once in a while, like today.
I had it with smoked salmon (which I love but eat maybe twice a year because of the price), cream cheese, snow peas and fresh lemon zest.
(I bought lemons and snow peas because they appealed to me, I guess they looked pretty. Any recipes with lemon are welcome, there's four more of them and I never use lemons really. The snow peas are easy to use later this week.)
Also had a tomato filled with egg mayo with salt, pepper and a little of the branston pickles.
Lots of room left on my plate, I was going to add something else but didn't know what, so this will have to do.
Poes has a nice place in the garden, right next to the rabbits.

You inspired me!!How is that even possible?

I have not been trying to lose weight that long so the last time i had chicken wings it was the deep fat fryer. Next time i will take your advice and use the AF.I honestly don’t use my oven or grill much any more. I love my airfrier and instant pot ( I have them as separate gadgets) and use one or other of them pretty much every day. Have you tried air fried chicken wings? A real game changer for me.
So so sorry to hear of your loss. Losing an animal is like losing family, and often worse. My heart goes out to you. We had 5 cats and a dog at one point. All the cats had great lives, traveled a lot with us and lived long lives. That in some way made their passing a little easier, but it always hurts so much. That was a couple decades ago, but i still think of them most days.Odd meal, tasty though.
