Hummus is a strange thing for me, it doesn't need nearly as much insulin as I would expect according to the carbs. And I definitely eat more than a few teaspoons too, it's one of my favourite midnight snacks to have with chicory leaves.and a few teaspoons of HM hummus - it's quite high carb for me because of chick peas so I'm limiting portion size
Interesting yes my bgs were fine too 2 hours on so maybe I could cope with larger amount. It may be it's the same for you and carbs from hummus don't act the same as other carbs.
