I can't say that I've seen Cornish Yarg on the cheese deli counters near us. It certainly won't be in supermarkets. I'll be heading to Dobbies later this week, and their food hall has a proper deli counter. I'll have a look.I don’t know I’m afraid. It’s not usually found with the prepacked cheeses in supermarkets but it might be available if there’s a deli counter, otherwise a proper cheese shop. ( sadly rare as hens teeth)
Maybe others on here who live up north can answer?
A cheese thread is a great idea!
We used to do the same thing but with Cheddar and without the cream. It was my husband's favourite way of having cabbage although I found the Cheddar a bit much after a while. Maybe if we'd used cream ...? But that was years ago when we thought cream was a wickedness too far.
House looks wonderful as one would expect. Link to Keto Chefs - leave me some cinnamon doughnuts and multi seed round rolls please.
I'm planning on getting some sole for boxing day. I'll be stuffing it with some kind of prawn mix, rolling, and wrapping in wilted lettuce. I'll come up with some kind of sauce. My brain is starting to function again as far as planning festive meals are concerned anyway.Late back from school run as I got caught in a blizzard! Very unusual for these parts and no roads gritted. Needed strong coffee when I got home. Then an early lunch of a small sirloin steak and fried eggs.
Mid aft h/m yoghurt with blueberries and seeds.
Dinner locally caught lemon sole (with crispy skin @maglil55 ) with lemon butter, steamed cavolo nero and celeriac. Montezuma’s absolute black with almonds and cup of tea to follow.

I've got the NLCK pasta as well. I've used some in my "curative" chicken soup, but there will be a pasta dish this week. I've also ordered more than a few packs of the very LC pastry from KC this evening (Sunday) which will be frozen before being turned into mincemeat pies and black porkies sausage rolls in a few weeks! I've ordered a few other things too.Evenin’ all - we miss you George D. Been dealing with some tummy issues and JKP’s hearing ( both all solved) visiting relatives, laying wreaths on graves, collecting grandchildren, and attending their concerts in Cathedrals and school halls. Result has been no real meals. Tired, hungry and very cold - my honest usual winter experience of LC - can’t lie about this. More sensible food day today.
Tea and Advent calendar cheese - 15 gms
Smashed avo (big M and S one), scrambled egg (3 X large) on KC toast for brunch
CWC etc with triple choc crunch Adonis bar
Meatballs slow cooked in passata, celeriac mash and creamed spinach, water. I've honestly taken more photos posting food pics here than all the time I've had a phone or camera. @shelley262 glad you liked the pasta - I use NLCK.

Perhaps I ought to know this but what is NLCK? I really would like to find a LC product that I could use but so far I haven't found one I can tolerate.I've got the NLCK pasta as well.
