What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Sunday 5/6/16
B 1 bacon 2 egg omelette / mushrooms
L 1pkt pork scratchings 2 rivitas / peanut butter
D 3 thin slices of chicken breast 3 crackers / liver pate
 
B: cup of tea.
Physio appointment at 9am.
One hour on treadmill walking, 3miles.
L: low carb crackers with pate, slices of wensleydale cheese, 2 on the vine tomatoes.
D: will be, rainbow trout, small jacket potato, pea shoots, baby plum tomatoes and asparagus. Fruit of some kind.
Water throughout day.
A good positive day! :D
 
B: boiled eggs
L: Coyo and marmite cheese - not together :)
D: Charlie Bingham (think that is right) Chicken Kiev - it's only 9.3 g of carbs, lots of green veg - and a nice Chenin Blanc in the garden!

What a lovely evening :):)
 
B: Good Green Stuff, Clean Lean Protein, chia seeds, bit C, 800 ml water, 2 g salt

L: salmon, mixed seeds, cashew and walnuts

D: Fresh prawns, salad and a few berries

All outside in the garden, in which naive been working all day:)

I found it in Tesco in the free from section although it took three trips up and down the aisle!!

Interestingly, it's made in a neighbouring town...

L tuna salad, vinaigrette dressing. Turk yoghurt with cinnamon, seeds and ground linseed

D buffalo burger, slice bacon, cheese in lettuce.
Rest of coyo choc later with some peppermint tea.

Monday 6/6 16

Yesterday's menu:
B: Cup of tea
Mid-morning: Coffee, handful of mixed nuts
L: Tinned sardines with bean salad; apple; piece of 75% chocolate
D: Sml slice of melon with one slice of prosciutto; pan-fried cod loin, green salad; pear with matchbox-sized slice of extra mature cheddar
 
B: cup of Camomile tea, smoothie made with, small apple, 5 strawberries, teaspoon of milled flaxseed, teaspoon of spiralina ( not sure on spelling), tablespoon or coconut cream and filled up with coconut water.
3 mile walk on the treadmill.
L: water.
D: will be, chilli made with Turkey mince, Lloyd Grossman chilli sauce, tin of chopped tomatoes, green beans, yellow pepper, oregano, good glug of Frank's hot sauce, red lentils. Served with half cauliflower rice and half brown rice, sour cream, cheese and spring onions.
 
Day 5 fast.
D buffalo burger cheese bacon lettuce wrap. Water. Half vanilla coyo (omfg!!), some nuts. More water.

Wanna get to bed ASAP as feel like I could eat all night long right now....

L: Cauliflower and fennel soup with lots of olive oil
D: Courgetti with dolce-latte-and-cream sauce and green asparagus, then an avocado to mop up the sauce
 
Tuesday
B Sukrin bread, peanut butter and homemade lemon curd
L nothing
D BBQ sausages, mixed salad, 3 pieces potato roasted in goose fat (tested pre-prandial at 5.6 and 2 hours later at 7.2! Guess I'll be giving them a miss in future, then!)

Diagnosed 13/4/16: T2, no meds, HbA1c 53, FBG 12.6, Trigs 3.6, HDL .75, LDL 4.0, BP 169/95, 13st 8lbs, waist 34" (2012 - 17st 7lbs, w 42").

2/6/16: FBG AV 4.6, Trigs 1.5, HDL 2.0, LDL 3.0, BP 120/72, 11st 11lbs, waist 30" (2012 - 17st 7lbs, w 42").

Regime: 20g LCHF, run 1 mile daily, weekly fasting.

6/6/16: Three BP readings now 112/64 & 112/66, 113/65 :)

L: mozarrella, cherry toms and olives
D: baked chicken breast with smoked cheese and cherry tomatoes, cauli with cheddar, berries and cream.

A bit too much cheese and tom, but Mr B envied my lunch so much I did him a similar themed evening meal. ;)
